Tepid disillusionment...

...because with the best will in the world I can only detect a brief resemblance to The One by D&G at the beginning. I have the feeling that they tried to cram everything into a fragrance that the laboratory had in stock.

The longevity is also nowhere near as good as calculated or stated here from experience. A simple comparison: every perfume in my collection with an average good shelf life can be perceived very well to well for at least 24 hours on a paper strip. This supposedly excellent blend doesn't even last 12 hours and can hardly be smelled for many hours before that. It's best not to even start with the durability on the skin...

About the fragrance: All in all, I remember the aftershave vibes, because after a good 5 minutes it smells to me like a cheap mixture of Acqua di Gio mixed with Erba Pura, and a little something from the spice market on top for refinement. I recently read something about a comparison with the quality of La Rive fragrances. That sums it up pretty well.

The bottle looks quite nice, but the sprayer is the very last piece of junk.

No idea how the good ratings come about here.................
