Penthouse Windsor Rue Broca

Ombre Nomade?
This fragrance caught my attention because it apparently resembles "Ombre Nomade | Louis Vuitton."
Price? Ridiculous. It can't be anything. For €19 - how can that work? I received it as a gift with an order here on Parfumo and had gotten a test strip from LV for the ON just a day before.
There are definitely similarities to be recognized. The Penthouse Windsor clearly lacks the slightly dirty note that makes the ON so addictive. In the broad and sweet veil, they come quite close, however.
Longevity is clearly far below the level of the original. My test strip still smells after 1 week, whereas the Penthouse starts to fade after about 6 hours - yet for the price, it still offers good performance.
I still got myself a bottle because it is also a bit more pleasing than the original. With the Penthouse, you get a cool fragrance with an initial strong alcohol note, which quickly settles down, revealing the Ombre Nomade character. Softer. Smoother. Distinct.
Furthermore, I found out in my research here on Parfumo that Rue Broca is probably a sub-brand of Afnan and that they are saving immensely on the bottle. The packaging is really unbelievably cheap, but the content has its usual quality as described. So for the price - BUY!
