Strawberry Pool Sãlum 2024

Strawberry Pool is once again a fragrance from the house of Sãlum that has convinced and captivated me.
These fruity strawberries paired with a certain kind of chlorinated aquatic note come across brilliantly.

As soon as I have this scent under my nose, I think of a warm summer day on vacation.
In this vacation, you might even be directly in Italy, and you can feel that certain freshness in the air. You sense a certain aquatic vibe, whether from pool facilities or perhaps from the sea.

Above all, I also think of walking through ice cream shops on those warm vacation days. For some reason, I definitely get ice cream shop associations, and I celebrate that. It’s not directly about the smell of ice cream, meaning that Strawberry Pool doesn’t smell like strawberry ice cream, no, not that. It’s simply that scent you often perceive in ice cream shops in general, that certain flair that these places convey, that’s what I get here under my nose.

Additionally, the fragrance has a certain creaminess that can definitely remind one of sunscreen.
Especially over time, this touch comes through more and more.

So, in terms of progression in my opinion:

....At the beginning, fruity with great strawberry (of course synthetic as always with fruit, but still very nice). Along with this aquatic, chlorinated touch.
Associations with summer, vacation, ice cream shop, pool landscape, sea.
A very slight ginger note and a bit of spiciness are present, but they are never the main players and not too intense....
....Then the fragrance becomes creamier, the sunscreen character comes through more and more.
The initial impressions mentioned above remain for a long time, now they just feel creamier....
....In the final phase, the fruitiness fades a bit, the strawberry gradually disappears.
A certain aquatic note remains without major other impressions. It now also feels quite woody and even almost earthy (but very subtle and pleasant)..

It should also be noted that in my opinion, it is relatively oily.
After spraying, it already shines a lot, and you can see and feel this oily film.

All in all, a wonderful fragrance that doesn’t smell like every other one and stands out for that reason alone. Moreover, it has great performance. It lasts over 9 hours on me! The projection is also impressively good.
