Today I had a situation where I was 100 percent thrilled by a fragrance. That's not often the case, I often like a perfume, but it's not enough to be an absolute hit that ends up on the list or should end up on the list (I usually forget to put it down). Strawberry Pool is a fragrance that does much more for me than just being pretty, it's dreamy.
I smell strawberries as soon as I spray it on (no ugly alcohol note for seconds like in some other fragrances). A few seconds later, it merges with aquatic and green notes. Fortunately, I didn't smell any chlorine or suntan lotion. I actually quite like the smell of chlorine, as it reminds me of swimming pools, but I wouldn't want to smell it on me in a perfume. I like suntan lotion, but not in a fruity fragrance, only if it's nice and creamy. This mixture of strawberries, water and green is perfect for me.

A walk through a pool landscape in Italy with lots of ice cream parlors

Strawberry Pool is once again a fragrance from the house of Sãlum which has convinced and picked me up.
These fruity strawberries paired with a certain kind of chlorine-containing aquatics just come across brilliantly.

As soon as I have this scent under my nose, I think of a warm summer day on vacation.
On this vacation, you might even be on the road in Italy and you can feel that certain freshness in the air. You feel a certain aquatic quality, be it from the pool facilities or perhaps from the sea.

But above all, I also think about walking through ice cream parlors on these warm vacation days. For whatever reason, I definitely get ice cream parlor associations and I celebrate that. It's not directly about the smell of the ice cream, i.e. that Strawberry Pool smells like strawberry ice cream, no, not that. It's just this smell that you often notice in ice cream parlors in general, this certain flair that these stores convey, that's what I get under my nose here.

The fragrance also has a certain creaminess that can be reminiscent of sun cream.
Especially over time, this touch comes through more and more.

So in my opinion about the progression:

....Fruity at the beginning with great strawberry (synthetic, of course, as always with fruit, but still very nice). Plus this aquatic, chlorinated touch.
Associations with summer, vacation, ice cream parlor, pool landscape, sea.
A very light ginger note and something peppery resonate, but are never the main players and are too intense....
....After that, the fragrance becomes creamier, the sunscreen character comes through more and more.
The first impressions mentioned above remain for a very long time, but are now creamier....
....In the last section, the fruitiness recedes somewhat, the strawberry disappears more and more.
A certain aquatic quality remains without any major other impressions. It is now also quite woody and even almost earthy (but very subtle and pleasing)..

It should also be noted that it is relatively oily in my opinion.
After spraying it on, it is very shiny and you can just see and feel this oily film.

All in all, a wonderful fragrance that doesn't smell like any other and therefore stands out on its own. It also has a great performance. It lasts over 9 hours on me! The projection is also remarkably good.
