An intense honey scent
If you like intense honey fragrances, you should try Gold. I find it quite successful but also a little boring. Nevertheless, it is a very pleasant unisex fragrance to wear. It lasts more than 12 hours on my skin with a rather moderate sillage.
As the complexity of the fragrance is limited, I will not be able to go into further detail about the top, heart or base notes. The scent is very sweet, gourmand, oriental-spicy, leathery, somewhat smoky, balsamic, resinous and delicately floral. I recognize aromas of blossom honey, amber, benzoin, saffron, allspice, nutmeg, marigolds and myrrh.
In the end, I don't really know what to make of Gold, especially as my best friend also described the fragrance as rather unspectacular. I would like to thank Alex for the bottling.

"Da sich die Komplexität des Duftes in Grenzen hält"- das ist ja eine Ansage bei einem Duft von Maurice Roucel. Ich finde "Gold" sogar ziemlich komplex...- und meine beste Freundin auch.
