O,o,o,o,o, Akkad is definitely an amazing reference! It's the most beautiful Thierry Delphine fragrance I know. Here too, the perfumer was given really good raw materials to choose from.
The formula for a successful fragrance? Hire a passionate perfumer, provide them with quality raw materials, and give them creative freedom. I definitely see parallels to Akkad here; the scent immediately reminded me of it. The fragrance doesn't start off very inviting, but the perfumer has let the colors of the raw materials shine through. As it develops, the scent becomes very rounded and warm. The golden age has begun!
Well, that's what Donald said... 😜 I tested it, but somehow didn't write anything about it... strange... it was actually great and I would love to have it...
But I don't see the future as so bright :-)
