I wish I felt like my predecessor and could hardly smell anything. In fact, at the beginning, a rather "sharp" synthetic-citrus scent comes through that stings the nose. It’s probably supposed to smell like pomelo and orange blossom. Pomelo yes, orange blossom no, if anything I smell more of a squeaky sweet orange. It’s also the case for me that this top note fades very quickly (thankfully, I might almost say) and makes way for a sweet base of sugar and honey. Well, the spooky part is over soon anyway and that’s it. Actually, I wouldn’t even want this artificial scent as a room fragrance. Now at least I can wash it off! Sorry, really not for me.

nothing of significance

This Voluspa fragrance is very thin. I can hardly smell anything on my skin and have to get very close with my nose to the sprayed area to perceive anything.
What I can recognize, however, does not particularly excite me. At first, it smells fresh like oranges and then over time like sugar, honey, and a bit of vanilla. This last note lingers a bit longer than the extremely fleeting top note of citrus.
However, everything feels very diluted, and the sweet notes come across as very synthetic. After 5 minutes, it becomes a synthetic, cloyingly sweet mush that I quickly want to wash off.
Not necessarily a fragrance I can recommend.
Perhaps it is better suited as a room scent.
