Orange Creamsicle Sugar Me Sweet

I encountered this on my journey to find my perfect orange creamsicle fragrance. just as the name suggests: orange creamsicle! very straightforward, orange and vanilla cream. the orange is sweet and candied, and the vanilla smells like melted ice cream. however, the orange does wear away over time, leaving just the vanilla with a whisper of citrus. i'm not sure if my sample just needs time to settle, but I got a really bitter, acrid smell in the dry down that was a little off-putting (maybe that's the smell of the popsicle stick once all the ice cream is gone? who knows). on top of that, the entire thing was gone after only a few hours. I'll revisit it to see if my opinion changes, but my orange creamsicle journey does not end with this.
