First of all: This is my first review, so I ask for your understanding :)
The Dua Brand is known to divide opinions, but I am very interested in this brand as they release a lot of high-quality fragrances in what I consider more reasonable sizes at lower prices.
So let's start with the bottle: 30ml is a completely sufficient size, at least if you use other perfumes as well. The design is kept very simple (and probably also cheap), I can only say about the bottle: nothing special, it just serves its purpose.
However, the scent itself is much more important here. I must admit that I do not know the original and therefore cannot say how close it is to the Xerjoff model, so I consider the scent here as a standalone. The opening is very strong and certainly not to everyone's taste, but I would not let that discourage me. Immediately, you perceive a smoky-sweet wood, combined with a very light vanilla that stays in the background. Over time, this sweet wood disappears, the vanilla pushes strongly to the forefront, and the smoke remains, but slightly weakens, resulting in a slightly smoky vanilla with a sweetness that is so far unfathomable to me, in a combination that I really like, but certainly not everyone’s nose.
Now let's get to longevity and sillage. The longevity is fantastic, at least 8 hours with 3 sprays is quite impressive, I have not experienced anything like this before, my other fragrances cannot compete. The sillage is also very good; my friends said that with every movement of mine, a wave of scent washes over them (fortunately, they liked the scent, otherwise it would have been a strange evening), and I also received comments from the other side of the room that the scent was noticeable there as well, which also speaks for the sillage.
So let's conclude: I am an absolute fan of this scent, so if there is a chance that there will be decants available at the Souk again, I can only say: Get one. The biggest problem here is that this scent was a limited edition; when I inquired with Dua, they said that it might be available again in the future. The generally biggest problem I see with Dua fragrances is that they are not yet directly distributed in the EU, so one should prepare for customs. In conclusion, I can only say: A very beautiful scent that I will definitely buy again if the opportunity arises, as long as I need it.
