I never forgave Dior for the reformulation of DHI in 2007. DUA has really captured the DNA very well - both the lipstick-powder opening and the drydown into warm vanilla.
This thing lasts incredibly long - I sprayed it yesterday at 7 PM, so over 20 hours ago, and it is still clearly present on my arm ... that's absolutely top-notch.
Next time, I would gladly like a larger bottle, then I will have my new, old best friend for winter again.

I always thought that both DH and DHI were actually improved with Demachy's reformulations. DH lost its scratchiness from the lavender and became smoother, while DHI wasn't as soft anymore, but finally had more punch (even at the start) and was less skin-close. That's why I ended up selling both vintages in disappointment.
The new versions with the changed design are definitely not the same, that's true.
