Coffee Addict is my all-time favorite coffee scent. I thought to myself, Theodoros definitely knows how to create sweet fragrances, my dear Scholli. Almond Tart sounds so delicious, nothing can really go wrong here. But almonds in perfumes don't always smell great; not everyone can achieve a wonderful almond note. But Theodoros? I was sure he must have done it well.
I received the sample, sprayed it on a piece of fabric, and the first thing I smell is butter and cherries? I waited a moment and thought it must just be my nose.
I waited a bit longer and? Still butter, something that reminds me of cake and boozy cherry, hmmm but where is the almond here? I smell more like Lost Cherry with butter and cake dough. The butter smells authentic; Kalotinis really nailed that.
I waited in vain for the almond until the end. I perceive at most nutty cherry, a bit of "cake crust," and plenty of butter. But the cherry is the most prominent. Maybe almonds and cocoa in combination smell like cherry? I don't know. Almond Tart simply doesn't smell like "almond" to me, but much more like "cherry."
H/S could be much better for such a sweet scent; both are rather average.
Unisex? Yes! (W55%/45%M) Recommendation to buy? No, for the price, I think you can get something better.
