A superlative coffee fragrance that lives up to its reputation
Coffee Addict by Theodoros Kalotinis is the scent from the Greek perfumer/house that has definitely generated the most buzz, at least that I’ve seen, as we’re seemingly in a time where gourmands, broadly, and coffee-rich fragrances, are abundant, and this one continually shows up as a favorite of many on the internet.
And I have to agree that it’s quite outstanding, a blend that incorporates the lighter, sweeter, creamier elements as well as the darker, roasted aspects of coffee. It does not quite have the same extremes as Kerosene Follow, which I generally regard as the niche standard for coffee, and probably lands slightly sweeter overall, while being lighter, so I could see this working well for those that regard Follow to be a bit heavy handed, but it’s nonetheless similarly successful in providing a well-blended experience that’s clearly carefully executed with nice ingredients. It’s fitting that Coffee Addict is so beloved and I really like it as well.
It does not perform quite as strongly as some of the superlative coffee fragrances (the aforementioned Follow and Sebastiane Espresso Royale being a couple of examples) but its performance is still very good, and the price is hard to beat, at 45 euros for 50ml. The solitary point of sale seems to be the house website, however.
