Sweet caramel espresso

I'm exploring coffee fragrances so I sampled this cause I was curious and, this was not what I was looking for but I like it! Smells like over-sweetened caramel espresso, which I am not fond of Espresso with sugar (tastes weird) but the smell is divine! I recommend this if you are looking for a sweet sugar smell, but if you just enjoy the smell of black coffee then def skip this one.

Is it better than Amore Caffe?

I wanted to compare these two and Im not sure if it's better or on par with Amore Caffe.
It starts up with heavy caramel, coffee and alcohol smell.
It settles down to a way better smell in the next 30 minutes. I personally couldn't smell the Cocoa much, but I am sure it's giving the depth this perfume needs. It smells like caramelly coffee with slight vanilla. I would say, it is a thick but not cloying fragrance. If you are looking for a really gourmand coffee perfume, this is probably the best for it's price range. Always thought Theodoros Kalotinis makes great Gourmands and this is another proof. I wouldn't say it's blind buy safe but overall, it's an amazing fragrance for gourmand coffee lovers.

Burnt Caramel

As a someone that is used to drinking my coffee pitch black, no cream or sugars I have to say that this one is actually kind of close. Though, I have to say, it is way too much sugar, burnt sugar, almost to a caramel like quality.

The coffee scent itself is also a bit burned? This next sentence is probably most relatable to those of you that have experience with barista machines, but it is like you have had an espresso shot too long in the bayonet and it has burned and now is stuck in the machine.

The first couple of hours it stays like this, with the strong coffee/burnt sugar smell. In the drydown it fortunately gets more mellow more like a sweet (but still strong) caramel, or maybe like a burnt cotton candy. My mother commented that it smelled a bit like a wooden fire that is lit with wet logs, but personally I never get anything woody? Just a really strong sweet scent, now with just a hint of coffee.

In my search for a true black coffee scent I will continue searching, but I appriciate that this is not lactonic in any way!

Ordered this as I am in a coffee and chocolate phase of fragrances, and this little one is fire! True male scent even though its unisex. I will be purchasing another soon.

"Light blond roast" with salted caramel drizzle

This fragrance is primarily three things to my nose:
- photo-realistic coffee (80%)
- salted caramel (15%)
- a hint of unsweetened heavy cream (5%)

Coffee is one of my favorite notes, but can sometimes swing too far into the roasted/"burnt" category to me. Thankfully, the coffee here is like a cup of a very smooth, light blond roast - not so roasted that the fragrance smells bitter, but still enough coffee to feel rich and cozy. Everything you love about coffee, without the heaviness.

The salted caramel drizzle is so perfect - it almost has the warmth and depth of butterscotch, but the saltiness keeps it light. It is not at all "tooth-achingly sweet" like some caramels are - just the right amount of sweetness, to balance the thickness of the coffee.

And lastly, there is just a small touch of unsweetened heavy cream to round it out - the perfect counterpart to keep the coffee from becoming overwhelming.

The entire combination feels decadent and I can't wait to wear it in autumn. This truly deserves the hype - in my top favorite coffee fragrances of all time!
