True Coffee
Ordered this as I am in a coffee and chocolate phase of fragrances, and this little one is fire! True male scent even though its unisex. I will be purchasing another soon.

Not synthetic; fresh brewed dark burnt coffee; elegant.

"Light blond roast" with salted caramel drizzle
This fragrance is primarily three things to my nose:
- photo-realistic coffee (80%)
- salted caramel (15%)
- a hint of unsweetened heavy cream (5%)

Coffee is one of my favorite notes, but can sometimes swing too far into the roasted/"burnt" category to me. Thankfully, the coffee here is like a cup of a very smooth, light blond roast - not so roasted that the fragrance smells bitter, but still enough coffee to feel rich and cozy. Everything you love about coffee, without the heaviness.

The salted caramel drizzle is so perfect - it almost has the warmth and depth of butterscotch, but the saltiness keeps it light. It is not at all "tooth-achingly sweet" like some caramels are - just the right amount of sweetness, to balance the thickness of the coffee.

And lastly, there is just a small touch of unsweetened heavy cream to round it out - the perfect counterpart to keep the coffee from becoming overwhelming.

The entire combination feels decadent and I can't wait to wear it in autumn. This truly deserves the hype - in my top favorite coffee fragrances of all time!

A superlative coffee fragrance that lives up to its reputation
Coffee Addict by Theodoros Kalotinis is the scent from the Greek perfumer/house that has definitely generated the most buzz, at least that I’ve seen, as we’re seemingly in a time where gourmands, broadly, and coffee-rich fragrances, are abundant, and this one continually shows up as a favorite of many on the internet.

And I have to agree that it’s quite outstanding, a blend that incorporates the lighter, sweeter, creamier elements as well as the darker, roasted aspects of coffee. It does not quite have the same extremes as Kerosene Follow, which I generally regard as the niche standard for coffee, and probably lands slightly sweeter overall, while being lighter, so I could see this working well for those that regard Follow to be a bit heavy handed, but it’s nonetheless similarly successful in providing a well-blended experience that’s clearly carefully executed with nice ingredients. It’s fitting that Coffee Addict is so beloved and I really like it as well.

It does not perform quite as strongly as some of the superlative coffee fragrances (the aforementioned Follow and Sebastiane Espresso Royale being a couple of examples) but its performance is still very good, and the price is hard to beat, at 45 euros for 50ml. The solitary point of sale seems to be the house website, however.

For coffee addicts
One of the most realistic freshly brewed black coffee with a bit of vanilla and sugar. However, it’s not very sweet, quite natural-smelling composition. It has a good projections and is very long lasting (more than 10 hours on my skin). A must-try for coffee lovers.

For recovering coffee addicts?
One part of me thinks of this fragrance as a 1:1 accurate interpretation of a mocha or latte with sugar, and another part thinks that this also smells like toffee lollies. That opening is straight coffee with sugar/chocolate, without a doubt. Throughout its wear, I do still get whiffs of coffee now and then, but it turns into more of a caramel/chocolate scent, think Cadbury hot chocolate powder. And to a lesser extent, this also reminds me of Black Phantom -- but only the sweet accords of BP. This is a solid fragrance. This is suitable for people who love coffee, but don't just want straight bitter coffee from their fragrance, if that makes sense? For anyone who wants a straight black coffee with no sweetness whatsoever -- this will disappoint you. But this doesn't disappoint me, a guy who loves sweet scents, and loves coffee a lot. I guess you could call me a... coffee addict.

The only criticism I have is that the coffee note/vibe doesn't last as strongly as the initial spray. And I'd say after about half an hour, the coffee scent only remains in the background throughout its wear. But impressively, after 30 minutes this still comes across as more of a coffee scent compared to popular scents like Rochas Man, Intense Cafe or Polo Red. And so, if you're after a coffee perfume that actually smells like coffee -- this is it. One of the best.

Final verdict: 9.5/10.

Realistic coffee beans scent with a never too sweet caramel, a touch of cocoa and a hint of vanilla in the drydown. Cozy and delicious.

Strong-ish caramel latte mixed w/ Baileys and served w/ a tiny sugar-coated spicy biscuit. Very cozy, like sitting in your fav cafeteria

Impressive, hyperrealistic coffee scent that smells like a latte with a shot of caramel. A lovely gourmand, especially in Autumn and Winter.

Foul. Not sweet whatsoever. Quite bitter and off-putting. Was very thankful I could easily wash it away. Made my stomach hurt.

Very strong gourmand. Smells exactly what it is. You need a dark, academic aesthetic to pull this off.

Here what is offered is what is found: coffee+caramel = coffee caramel. If you like coffee candies you have to try this.

Kein Photorealistischer Kaffee-Duft. Karamell sticht hervor und stiehlt dem Kaffee die Show. Schade drum.

Most realistic coffee caramel scent. Like you open a bag of freshly ground coffee with caramel.

Simple but well executed. Smells like mixing instant coffee into meringue. True gourmand.
