I was so so shocked after sampling this. Based on the notes and mentions of this perfume on social media, I was sure I'd love it. Alas...
At first spray, I get a bit of pear and waffle cone, but mostly vanilla and sugar. The pear gets a tiny bit stronger over the next few hours and the milk can be discerned a little bit during the second and third hours but this scent is mostly dominated by the vanilla and sugar. I was hoping for a stronger pear note and a more lactonic accord but both the pear and milk in this were relatively lacking.
I would usually be fine with this but it's very sweet, almost cloying, and synthetic in a way that is quite candle-like. Thankfully, the sillage and longevity weren't the best because I could feel a headache coming on when I would sniff my wrist directly. This lasted for about six hours on me.
Overall, I was quite disappointed—not only by the execution of the given notes but also because I usually love Theodoros's gourmands.
