On a tester, to my nose, this is a patchouli forward vanilla with a touch of sweetness. Before I perceive the vanilla, I smell musk, spiciness, wood, creaminess....and I discover the vanilla in the creaminess. Given how photorealistic, gourmand, and true-to-their-name other Theodoros fragrances are, this was quite the surprise and not at all what I expected.
On my skin, the patchouli fades a touch and I discover a musky vanilla. My skin does weird things to fragrances, so in the dry down it becomes a musky, minty scent with vanilla in the distant background. This isn't what I typically go for when I'm looking for a vanilla, but I can tell that it is well done, so I won't hate on it.
