Bibi Blocksberg gone wild
Hex-Hex!
Under a scent from the Wacken Open Air called "Witch," I would imagine a very smoky, old-fashioned, perhaps even green fragrance. Instead, Witch is fruity, floral, somewhat sweet, and - unfortunately - also slightly synthetic. "Succubus" would have been the more fitting name.
Expectations have thus been deflated, but that was also the case with Flame and "Thunder | Wacken."
Ignoring that, Witch makes a surprisingly good impression for the relatively low price. The fruitiness is very dark, the blackcurrant beautifully deep, the leather far in the background, the floral notes never dominant, and the sweetness is kept in check. It smells significantly better than expected and would even break the 8-point barrier if it weren't for that annoying synthetic note that subtly wafts around all the time, occasionally surfacing and diminishing the enjoyment.
What a shame.
In any case, Witch smells like a grown-up, lascivious Bibi Blocksberg. The childishness shed, femininity discovered, and the realization that one can consciously use it. A fragrance for young women who want to smell wicked and sexy and attract attention at parties or in clubs. It is also suitable for dates.
The longevity is about 6 hours, 2 of which have good sillage.
Today is Halloween. Perhaps not a bad scent for that.
