I smelled the original at Harrods and then got Impulse Oud to check if I really liked the DNA. The scent is very potent, projects extremely strongly, and feels about 80% similar to the original. Especially rose & oud are very prominent.
However, it is not a classic crowd-pleaser, as it stands out strongly in the room and is clearly noticeable. Considering the price, it is a very good choice, especially for those who like the DNA of Oud Satin Mood and are looking for an affordable yet powerful alternative.
