I open up my heart, you can love me or not
There's no such thing as sin, let it all come right in
I wanna make some mistakes, I wanna sleep in the mud
I wanna swim in the flood, I wanna fuck 'til I'm done
I like whiskey on ice, I like sun in my eyes
I wanna burn it all down, so let's start a fire
I wanna be lost, so lost that I'm found
Naked and laughing with my blood on the ground

To be alive, with everything that comes with it. Avoid nothing out of false caution. “Wujood/ وجود” means existence, presence, being, presence, current state, existence, essence, life. What does it mean for me to be truly present and alive? Yes, making mistakes is part of life - otherwise I would never learn anything. To surrender to (possibly dangerous) floods in order to swim freely. Enjoying good sex, feeling the sun in my eyes. Sometimes I also have the impulse to burn down or blow up everything that is going wrong or serves more to stagnation than to life (mostly without giving in to the impulse). And to be truly found by another soul - perhaps I can only do that if I give myself up to being lost, if I fully give myself to life with all its risks, all its finiteness, all its sorrow, all its pain. It can go terribly wrong, so that I find myself on the ground, at the end of all strength. Life is beautiful, it begins as an unfathomable vulnerable miracle, and it is often terrible, it hurts so much, it is so sad.

This fragrance strengthens me without sugarcoating. Existential orientalism, so to speak. It is very present and for long stretches, especially at the beginning, not exactly delicate, yet from the second half unfolds a soft-spicy-powdery gentleness that I find comforting and gracious. The strong opening is quite spicy with pepper and strong saffron. You have to like that; I personally enjoy saffron with its slightly sharp-medical note. For long stretches, a dry-warm-spicy sweetness dominates the impression, with smoky resins in both lighter (Elemi) and darker (frankincense) versions. I also detect something leathery. The saffron remains quite present for a long time. Later, a balsamic-spicy-dry-powdery amber base emerges, becoming a bit more vanilla in the drydown, which I really like. There is some synthetic quality, but it is well integrated. Unfortunately, not for those averse to saffron. Definitely great in heat too! And a very affordable price (currently around €20).

I am here, I am here
I've already seen the bottom, so there's nothing to fear
I know that I'll be ready when the devil is near
I am here, I am here The quotes are from P!nk: I am here. Here sung by her:

I initially found Wujood quite unpleasant... But after testing it again after 3 months - it's wonderful! Wujood definitely needs to mature (unfortunately).
So honest and incredibly strong and proud in your interpretation. Very emotionally captivating. Just as heartfelt as the scent, but in a completely different way..!
Wonderful text. It reflects what I often feel as well.
I really love saffron, but it can often come across as overly synthetic in perfumes. However, sometimes it manages to feel natural. Persian cuisine can't do without saffron. It also has mood-lifting and aphrodisiac effects... what else could you want?
You've definitely piqued my curiosity about the scent!
It must be a fascinating scent, just like you described it beautifully. I always have mixed feelings about saffron with incense. It can be a wonderful fragrance on the right skin, but unfortunately, not for me.
"Existential Oriental" is great, seems a bit sharper than Voix humaine, which rather melts on me and lifts me up. But I don’t always want to rise; I want the plunge into darkness just as much ;)
I love saffron, it's in one of my fragrances. But in this one, I find it irresistible.
Pink is of course great👌
And your review is bursting with liveliness - that's lovely and quite contagious🏆🏆🏆
With saffron into the spiciness of absolute existence. Pink saffron, Wujood Pink, spicy devotion, existential Orientalism. I let your words melt on my tongue and will listen to Pink right away. Thank you!
Pink is strong, both the lyrics and the music. With saffron... There are only a few fragrances where I like it, but really rarely. That's why I like your review even more.
Diving into life, feeling happiness with every fiber, and sometimes the opposite too.
Enjoying, enduring, existing.
LIFE!!!
If the scent is even half as good as your words, it would be more than a 10.
