angelic bowl of steamed rice!
this is such a unique scent! I have nothing like it in my collection. it opens up fruity and a little spicy, quickly mellows out to something creamy, nutty, and musky, like clean skin. the rice is very prominent to me, but it's not food-y or exceedingly starchy. lasts a decent while, but sits pretty close to the skin, like I naturally just smell that good. the drydown reminds me a lot of Diptyque's L'Eau Papier, but this has a little more brightness and isn't as starchy. the paper note in here reminds me of when I cook with bay leaves - i don't know what it's doing, but I know it's in there doing something! it's a shame this is a limited offering, because this is truly something I've never experienced before.
