The Grandson of Patou Pour Homme
I received a sample of the fragrance today. Since I own Patou Homme, I absolutely have to write a few lines here.

As already described, there is a similarity to Sonny Crockett's fragrance Patou Pour Homme.
This is how the reissue should have been!!

The opening for me starts with lavender, sage, cinnamon, and a hint of cinnamon.
Then it continues with pepper, hay, patchouli
And in the heart note, there it is.
The grandson of Patou Homme!
Cedar, tonka bean, vanilla, sandalwood, and incense.

The sillage and longevity are enormous.
I find the price for this fragrance great.

Anyone who is a fan of PPH should definitely test this and give the fragrance time to develop.

Believe me, you will not be disappointed.

This is how the 2013 version should have smelled.

Clear recommendation to buy.

Mister Feeling
Mister Feeling dance the night away
Mister Feeling on a holiday
All we need is to get this feeling
are a few lines from the summer hit by Masterboy from 1996.

This song fits perfectly with Baldessarini Nautic Spirit.
I wore this fragrance every day during my short vacation at Lake Garda.

The opening starts off very fruity with passion fruit and mango.
Then comes sea water combined with curry leaf, which creates a very fruity fresh slightly peppery scent on my skin.

In the end, sandalwood and patchouli join the passion fruit and mango.
I only perceive musk lightly. The sea water remains with me throughout the entire scent development on my skin.

My conclusion:
A very well-executed perfume by Baldessarini that does come across as a bit synthetic, but I believe a perfume should appeal to you.

For summer, whether on vacation at the beach, at home, or on the go, it is super suitable.

For winter or elegant appearances, I recommend Baldessarini Ambre.

Longevity and sillage are unfortunately only mediocre, about 3 - 4 hours, after which only a hint of Nautic Spirit remains on my skin, but that's not a problem as you can always reapply.

For the bottle, I give full marks as it is very heavy and with the wood veneer, it is a real eye-catcher in the bathroom.

I can recommend this perfume to anyone who loves summery fruity fresh scents.

Welcome to the summer heat 2020

When the Price is your Love
it's 1 - 2 - 3 you run
it's so hard for you to love someone
just when we're getting closer
these are the lyrics from Lori Bianco's song When the Price is your Love.

But let's get to the point.
During my short vacation in Austria, I picked up Lagerfeld Classic for a very affordable price
and I was not disappointed.

As mentioned above, the price is amazing just like the fragrance.
For this price range, you usually don't get such a high-quality scent like LC.

It is definitely a powerhouse fragrance like those from the late 70s and early 80s.

The bottle. Elegant, Puristic, Stylish with the orange color.

The top note starts off fresh for me with notes of aldehydes, clary sage, green notes, and a hint of lemon.

The heart note becomes warmer with rose, sandalwood, and a very nice tobacco note that I can still perceive until the end.

At the end of the fragrance, alongside the tonka bean, amber, and tobacco note, a very noble vanilla note joins in.

Longevity is insane. 8 - 10 hours on my skin.

The fragrance is suitable for any occasion when applied sparingly.
It has always been perceived positively by me so far.

Longevity 10 points
Bottle 9 points
Sillage 10 points
Fragrance gets a full 10 points from me

Thank you for reading
When the price is your love

For your Eyes Only!!
Hello everyone!!
Recently, I acquired a sample of this rare little fragrance at an auction.
I first encountered LBU in the 90s, and I still remember that my father wore it for a short time.

Let’s talk about the scent!
For me, the top note starts with bergamot, tarragon, coriander, and a hint of lavender and rosemary, with the rosemary being very faint on my skin.

The heart note begins with a floral woody character. I perceive cedarwood and patchouli.

The base becomes a bit more luxurious with amber, leather, and a touch of musk.

Conclusion: The scent is a rarity. The ingredients are of the highest quality and natural.
Longevity and sillage are not great for me: at most 3 to 4 hours.

Suitable for ages 30+

I will not repurchase the fragrance, as it is personally a bit too weak for me, but it is definitely worth a test for us 80s powerhouse fragrance fans.

Maybe for some, the longevity and sillage are better.
For those, FOR YOU EYES ONLY !!!!!!!!!

What is the definition of madness!!!
Creating the same thing over and over again but always with a different result!

This time I’m dealing with Valentino Uomo Intense. The perfume was a blind buy. I bought it for the following reasons:
1 I wanted to try a modern scent from the 2010s (Normally, I prefer fragrances from the 80s and 90s)
2 I’m into vanilla scents.

And I must say I was not disappointed.

Let’s talk about the fragrance!
The top note alone is very dominant and intense with the mandarin and a hint of sage.
In the heart note, I perceive something chocolatey. Good milk chocolate.
In the base note, after the chocolatey scent, there’s some leather and a very well-measured and dominant (in a positive sense) vanilla.

Now let’s discuss the bottle!
A feast for the eyes. A real eye-catcher in the bathroom. A touch of retro but with elegance.

Longevity:
Very good, 8 - 9 hours on the skin. It lasts longer on clothing.

Conclusion;
An excellent perfume when dosed correctly. More suited for young people aged 16+ who want to stand out from the Paco Rabanne crowd. A scent that stays in memory. Suitable, as mentioned, when dosed correctly for almost all occasions.
For me, one of the best in its age group.

As my headline "What is the definition of madness" suggests, so many sweet fragrances are launched on the market these days, and one smells more modest than the other; Valentino Uomo Intense is an exception for me. While it is similar to many other fragrances, VUI is a class of its own.

Glad to have you in my collection, VUI.
