How did THIS end up in my collection?
To get straight to the point; nothing has actually gotten lost here. I consciously bought Musk Oud.
And I would have never thought it possible, because until now I couldn't stand any fragrance with Oud. Musk Oud is the reason why I no longer categorically exclude Oud fragrances.
I first smelled it in the perfumery. I sniffed my way through the individual Kilian fragrances and with Musk Oud, I was shockingly in love!
I couldn't believe it, as I said, I found all Oud fragrances terrible until now. I must add, however, that the Oud note here is relatively mild.
I am just so blown away by this combination of woody notes and a clean, fresh powderiness. On my skin, it is also slightly earthy. The rose is distinctly noticeable but doesn't overpower.
I just knew; this is how I want to smell! I was actually surprised to see that significantly more men own it. However, I now also think that it leans more towards the masculine side. But I believe that women can wear it very well and should definitely take a look at this fragrance!
I think that it is not as heavy and extremely woody as other fragrances with Oud or the oriental theme.
At first, I actually imagined it more on a woman. Or rather, I just assumed it would smell fantastic on me and didn't question whether it might come across as more masculine.
But basically, anyone can wear anything anyway. ;)
In any case, I cannot understand why the longevity is sometimes criticized here.
I sprayed it on my jacket on Saturday and now, a week later, it still smells like Musk Oud.
But maybe the gentlemen here are just used to intense Beast Mode fragrances.
I perceive the scent on myself all day long.

Keep calm and drink tea
Or just spray yourself with "Collection Grands Crus - Assam of India | Berdoues." Best to go for 20 sprays right away.
Because right off the bat - you have to overspray this fragrance to really experience it. But with the relatively low price, that's really manageable.
I love using it after a shower or just in between during the day.
Simply for that feel-good experience.
The combination of black tea and lemon is just really relaxing and soothing.
Somehow, you just feel good with this scent. I can also imagine it really well on very hot summer days.
I hardly smell the sandalwood here. The black tea note and the lemon, on the other hand, are very well balanced.
For work or leisure, however, it is a bit too quiet for me. I quickly perceive it only up close, and overall, it doesn't last particularly long.
I think this is simply a scent you keep to yourself. Just me and "Collection Grands Crus - Assam of India | Berdoues" and maybe a warm tea.

Risk of Confusion
Last December, my girlfriend gifted me a 30ml bottle of "Lady Million (Eau de Parfum) | Paco Rabanne"
Yessss…. at least I thought so until yesterday.
I was standing in the bathroom and looking at the bottle. (Sometimes I just randomly sniff my bottles).
And then I saw something that confused me. The bottle said Lady Fabulous.
I was like: HUH?!?!!
I read it again: Yep, Lady Fabulous.
Then I first looked at photos on Parfumo of Lady Million.
It usually says Lady Million on it, okay.
(No joke, I could actually hear my brain rattling).
I was totally confused and googled Lady Fabulous. Strange. It looks completely different.
My brain kept rattling…. then I checked a website to see what the 30ml bottle of "Lady Million Fabulous | Paco Rabanne" looks like.
Then there it was, the realization and my aha moment. The 30ml bottle of Lady Fabulous looks exactly like the one from Lady Million.
It just says FABULOUS on it.
Only from 50ml does the bottle differ.
I AM SPEECHLESS! How could I have overlooked this FOR MONTHS?!??
I wrote a statement about Lady Million regarding LADY FABULOUS.
How embarrassing! HAHA!
I had already wondered why I didn't smell raspberry or honey.
No, I smell vanilla and tonka and the mandarin in the opening.
Lady Million is my girlfriend's signature scent, the one who gifted me the fragrance believing it was Lady Million.
She even used it at my place AND DIDN'T NOTICE A THING. How sad is that?! :D
And one more realization. Apparently, I am very influenced by the reviews here! Because now that I know it's not Lady Million, I find the scent better. What a hypocrite I am.
Wow! Not my shining moment but whatever.

A small but fine difference would be there
The comparison with
Ôud Bouquet has been mentioned here often, so I’ll throw in my two cents as well, since I have tested it! Side by side! On my arm!
And then I compared and came to the conclusion:
Well, quite similar. BUT not exactly. Because haaaa, my Oud-hating nose searched for Oud in vain in
The Fabulous Collection - Fabulous Bukhara
It's not listed in the fragrance pyramid either (which doesn’t necessarily mean anything).
I don’t know if you also experience this, but with scents/tastes that you absolutely dislike, you are particularly sensitive.
An example:
I have always hated a certain soft cheese. My father (the sly one) thought back then that I would never notice if he simply mixed it into a sauce.
Surprise!
I noticed! And I couldn’t eat it.
Things you don’t like are always detectable by smell/taste.
That was quite elaborate for just wanting to emphasize that there is no Oud in it, which is anyway not claimed in the fragrance pyramid, ANYWAYS…
My conclusion is:
If you want it beautifully oriental-intense and expect good longevity, treat yourself to
Ôud Bouquet
If you are looking for a similar scent, but in a somewhat milder version, with a honey-dipped rose and WITHOUT OUD, then you are probably better off with "The Fabulous Collection - Fabulous Bukhara | Dali Haute Parfumerie."

Relationship Drama by the Fireplace
Oh my God, I’m freaking out, this scent smells incredibly nice!
And while I’m writing this, my boyfriend next to me is grumbling: “No way, that smells like crap - I swear if the bed smells like that afterwards!”
Side note:
I like to test perfumes on my wrist in the evening and let them settle on me in peace.
I’ve smelled this scent 1:1 before. Years ago, I bought a Rituals scented candle in the “Woody Vanilla” variety, which smells exactly the same. I kept the candle with a bit of the wax, simply because I love the scent so much, and over the years, I’ve sniffed it every now and then.
By the Fireplace initially smells just hardcore like a campfire. It stays smoky the whole time, but it becomes beautifully vanilla.
So basically, you get smoke, wood, and vanilla.
The reviews here surprise me a lot, as this scent has not impressed anyone in my circle so far.
But here it seems to be well-liked by the overwhelming majority.
I just held my wrist under my boyfriend's nose again and said: “Now it doesn’t smell so intensely of smoke anymore.” and he, completely disgusted: “Ew!!”.
The fact is, if I buy the bottle, the household harmony will definitely be in serious trouble, because my boyfriend hates the scent as passionately as I love it, and since the sillage is really quite good, he would definitely notice if I wear it. It’s a dilemma.
Well, screw it, it’s definitely on my wish list now.
