What are your dream perfumes for 2025?

What are your dream perfumes for 2025?

As we begin a new year, it’s the perfect time to dream and plan ahead.

Share your list of desired perfumes for your collection:

- Those you plan to acquire and are readily available.
- And the rare "unicorns" that may be nearly impossible to find but remain on your wish list.

Let’s inspire one another and perhaps discover new treasures to add to our collections.

What are your olfactory aspirations for this year?

Good question. My list is so long already and I'd be broke trying to fulfill it. And that's not counting what I'd like to sample this year and new releases. Anyway, the short list (which is too long):
Summer:
Enclave
H24
Hacivat
Megamare
King Cobra
Super Nova
Anytime of year, more or less:
Reckless Leather
Oud for Glory
Afrika-Olifant
Hacivat Oud
Papilefeko
Stercus

I will be traveling to Thailand for a couple of weeks, so I definitely plan to sample and acquire more gems from Panpuri, MITH and maybe Proad. Also want to try some of the Guerlain extraits that are not easily available where I live, like Cuir Beluga, etc. Plus some of the Boucheron fragrances that don`t have delivery options to Japan.
This is not a unicorn by any means, but something strange is happening to L`Artisan Perfumer recently, and it irks me because I really love and want to purchase some of their fragrances, like #Arcana Rosa and #Vetiver Ecarlat. It's like all their stuff has been pulled out of Asia, and their customer service reps are totally clueless. They keep sending me to the same Osaka stores that no longer carry them. It's ridiculous how misinformed and poorly managed their sites are. Apparently they're available at Harrods, but that stupid site, while promising worldwide deliveries, only accepts UK issued cards. Arghhhhh!

Di Ser is just as hard to get your hands on here in Japan. Their site doesn`t deliver and the stores listed in Osaka carry only a limited supply of all their offers.

I face the opposite challenge. Living in Europe, I find it difficult to get my hands on perfumes from the brand Di Ser / ディセル. So far, I’ve only had the chance to try two from the house, but Mizu has quickly become one of my favorite fragrances. Unfortunately, its high price and very short longevity on my skin are drawbacks.

I'm still waiting on Versace pour Homme EDP although I know it'll never happen.
I plan to make purchases only on my wishlist and expand into not-so-well known niche/ indie. I need to clear out some unworn fragrances in my collection.

Exactly, perfumes that are widely available here in Europe can be really hard to find in the U.S. Similarly, there are American brands I'd love to try, but it's almost impossible to get samples here.

I have 4 on my list to buy this year, but that list might grow as I sample more fragrances: Maksim Oud Indochine, Miyaz Fleur Tabac, Memo Eau de Memo, and Bortnikoff Chypre du Nord.
I also want to buy sample sets of Filippo Sorcinelli, Aromas de Salazar, Matiere Premiere, La Manufacture, as well as keep up with new 2025 releases!

@BertolucciK I've only tried two: A Rose By Many Names, which I very much enjoyed, and Raspy Oud, which I wasn't a fan of. He is rebranding and will be releasing a discovery set soon, which I want to get my hands on. I'm not sure he delivers outside of the USA, especially since I know he uses lots of naturals and might not adhere to EU/IFRA standards.

I'm really curious about the brand Aromas de Salazar. Are their fragrances any good? With the difficulty I have in getting my hands on American perfumes, I’m afraid they might discontinue the house’s fragrances before I even get the chance to try any of them.

If I can convince myself to spend that kind of money, Beach Hut Man and King Blue are at the top of my list.
Next would be some Maison Crivelli frags, probably Oud Stallion and Ambre Chromatique.
I also want to explore some Italian houses that are more on the chaotic side. I'm used to refined French perfumery, so I want to get out of my comfort zone.
Not just Alessandro Gualtieri, but also Francesca Bianchi and Lorenzo Pazzaglia. Sounds like I'm already a few hundred euros deep (if not a thousand) so I'll leave it at that and we'll see what 2025 brings lol.

Beach Hut Man is a fragrance I find quite pleasant. However, I tend to prefer scents like Bracken Man or Sunshine Man, though unfortunately, Amouage has decided to discontinue them. As for King Blue, I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, but I definitely need to get a sample, as I’ve heard many great things about it.
