Fleur du Male with a few splashes of 4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser...
This fragrance is the first, and so far only, blind buy...
As an absolute fan of Francis Kurkdjian's creations, I really wanted to test it. Here in Germany, however, it is hard to find; in its country of origin, Spain, it can actually be found in almost every perfumery.
A friend who was just in Spain described it to me as very sweet, smelling of chewing gum (which I still can't really confirm).
After I was able to get my hands on a bottle of this fragrance, I was more than curious...
A chunky bottle that looks a bit flashy; the scent reminded me immediately of one of my favorites "Fleur du Male" during the first test, although lighter, not quite as sweet, more Mediterranean, and somehow infused with 4711 from the Cologne traditional house.
This blind buy turned out to be a hit for me. It is an ideal companion for the summer, one that you don't encounter on every corner here, with good longevity and pleasant sillage. Plus, it's a perfume in an absolutely acceptable price range.
