Was gifted a grand total of 44 samples of 26 unique scents from a spring fragrance event at Neiman Marcus. Thanks Lexi. Reigniting my exploratory nose. Lots of Mind Games, Marc-Antoine Barrois, Creed, and some outliers like Clive Christian L: Red Tea Vetiver and some Amouage. Going to be working my way through these for quite a while. Trying to take notes and ratings.

In celebration of finishing my 4-day thesis writing coma, ordered some much-desired decants:
- Thomas Kosmala No 4 Apres L'Amour
- Memo Paris Eau de Memo
- Ormonde Jayne Montabaco (Parfum)
I am so excited! Unfortunately my wallet still limits me to purchasing small volumes, but it is probably responsible to not ball-out with the blind-buys.

I have clearly honed in on my own tastes because these are divine. My god. First impressions off the strip are 10's for all. Need more time to rate fairly though.

Essential Parfums discovery set came in. Can get a full refund w/ purchase of a full 100ml. So the testing begins.

Eros Flame, L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme, and L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Intense arrived. Loving all three. Intense is massively slept on. I think together these three will cover all occasions for the warmer months. Search is over for now.

Haha just kidding :) Couldn't stay away from picking up some more:
- Ted Lapidus Poker Face is not spectacular but DD is sexy and an easy reach
- Boucheron Jaipur Homme EDP is NOT for warm weather, nor do I particularly love it. Still, a piece of frag history and one that I may come to enjoy as my nose and personality matures
- Lattafa Liam is by far my favorite Lattafa pick-up. Not exactly a summer scent but it'll serve me well this spring
- Also just ordered two mini sets from Acqua di Parma and Van Cleef & Arpels. The former will scratch the summery itch. The latter is basically just for fun--seems to be leaning cooler or at least evening contexts

I NEED to let Lattafa Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud mature for a while because it is just nauseating to me at the moment. I am frankly flabbergasted at the reviews. It smells like cloyingly sweet cardboard and rubber. Could be a bad batch, but no harm in forgetting about it for a few months.

Ok well decided to throw this on and got two unprompted comments. My buddy Eric said I smelled like pumpkin and cigarettes (in a good way, supposedly). Female coworker made multiple comments about how much she liked it. I agree it definitely got better. Pretty rich and nutty now imo.
