The good friend next door or a love that never ends..
Yes, I confess: this fragrance is my signature, and not just since yesterday, but for almost ten years now. It's amazing how quickly time flies - and yet you're still here!

It was 2016, my first salary was in my account. And some of you will be seeing me again now, because I blew the money in the first week ("Live the first week like a king and the rest like a beggar" - you know the saying). I can't even remember what I bought back then. But I still remember Bleu de Chanel very clearly. And I also got a sample of the aforementioned Luna Rossa Sport back then.

First test:
"This thing has as much to do with sport as Oliver Kahn has to do with composure."
Apparently they were smoking good stuff in the marketing department back then, otherwise I can't explain this choice of name.

Well, so be it - the product was simply strong. It was the one perfume, the friend for life. Which I didn't realize at the time.
Prada simply makes the best daily/soap fragrances, and Luna Rossa Sport is no exception.

It starts with a wonderfully fresh, slightly powdery note, which is probably due to the lavender and ginger. The fragrance remains fairly linear throughout, but a certain warmth is added by tonka bean and vanilla. Beautiful and timeless.

What, hay is supposed to be in there? Well, let's leave it at that ... I certainly don't smell any of it.

For a typical "clean scent", it has surprisingly good sillage, which is probably due to the sweet note. The longevity is also absolutely reasonable: it stays with you reliably for 6-7 hours.
And yes - there have been plenty of compliments over the years.
But honestly? That's not what a signature fragrance is all about.

A signature fragrance should reflect your personality and identity. It should show how you want to be perceived by the outside world - and who you are.
It should simply be like you.

And what does this fragrance represent for me?
Three words: "Mr. Nice Guy."

He is sincere and friendly.
He helps because he wants to help, not because he has to.
He is respectful, takes everyone as they are and treats everyone with dignity.
He is funny, loyal - but also clear in his feelings.
He's there when you need him.

This is how I imagine the ideal of this perfume.
And let's be honest: everyone would like to have someone like that in their life.

In conclusion, all that remains is to say:
Anything less than a 10 would not do this fragrance justice.
Yes, I know, it's not particularly unique, it doesn't stand out, and it certainly doesn't reinvent the wheel.
But anyone who doesn't give their signature fragrance a 10 hasn't found theirs yet.
I hope you stay with me for many years to come.
Here's to another ten wonderful years with you and hopefully many more to come

How a small recession can change your life ..
Well, admittedly - this title is a bit of clickbait, but at least it has changed the summer a little, and I've gained a loyal companion. But more on that later...

In Europe, the Osma brand is still extremely unknown and very difficult to find. That's a shame, because the fragrances are very unique, not duplicates, of very good quality and, above all, great value for money! And, who would have thought it, the Saudis can make perfume just as well and are in no way inferior to the endless brands from the U.A.E.

But how did I come across this fragrance in the first place?
On my Dubai vacation this year, I was of course on a perfume hunt, nothing could stop me. Swiss Arabian, Lattafa, Rasasi - I just wanted to try them all. Because when do you ever get the chance to smell or test so many at once?

After several fragrance sessions, I had at least as many shopping bags in my hand. I was fed up, well literally. But my friend noticed a small store in the mall: Osma. Admittedly, the bottles were very uniform and I found them very aesthetically pleasing, reminding me a little of Louis Vuitton. So my interest was a little piqued. But I had no desire to test the hundredth LV dupe. No, my nose can't take that anymore...

So I thought: I'll have a look here. Maybe someone has written a review about a fragrance so that I don't have to try them all, but I didn't have high hopes.

To my surprise, the Osma brand was actually represented. Not with all the fragrances, but well, that should be enough.
So I started scrolling and LaWood's review caught my eye. He raved about Positano. So I thought: what the heck - let's try it too. Luckily!!!!!

Sprayed on: The fragrance starts with a very pronounced jasmine note. This fades as it progresses, but never leaves you! There is also sandalwood, which makes the fragrance softer and creamier, as well as a very subtle pepper note that rounds off this heavenly masterpiece.
Yes - truly a delight, this fragrance! Absolutely unisex and I would probably also like it on a woman. The longevity is good. After 2-3 hours it becomes very close to the skin and lasts on the skin for about 5-6, maybe even 7 hours. I would describe the sillage - except for the first two hours - as rather moderate, although it is still present beyond that.

The fragrance comes from a special collection of the brand, which also includes Capri and Portofino. These are also an absolute recommendation and worth a separate entry when the opportunity arises!

What I haven't talked about yet is the bottle. I don't know either, but I'll say this: I haven't seen a prettier one yet. This also applies to the other two mentioned above. Those little Italian villages on the bottles - wow!

To summarize:
A must for everyone - on your next visit to the Orient!

Thanks to LaWood, thank you for reading!

Little Boy
Why is there no better name for this perfume? We'll get to that later...

At the beginning I would like to say that I am a very great lover of our Oriental friends, especially the house Rasasi, which I am very fond of. Fragrances like Hawas, Fattan or the pour lui series, have managed to leave a long-lasting footprint in my collection and by that I mean that I would buy the fragrances again and again.

But why of all people did Shuhrah pour Homme deserve a comment?
Because that smell is the F**ing atomic bomb of the house.

As for the fragrance itself, I can say that it starts off intensely sweet, with a pleasant smoke note (probably too strong for some people). I have read "smells like lightly burnt cotton candy" and I would agree with that. In the course of time it becomes much more flowery and probably also more pleasant for the masses. To the topic "smells like an ashtray" I can only say nonsense...

Let's get to my two favorite categories of this fragrance. Shelf life:
Yes, the shelf life of these scents... I don't know what to say... I just say, for 26€ you won't find another fragrance with such a durability, Level/Atomar. I smelled it myself after I showered. I've only seen this kind of durability at Interlude so far

Projection:
I strongly advise against using more than three sprays Otherwise you will be guaranteed the 1.5 m distance. My personal sweet spot with this perfume is 2 sprays, and that's why I nickname it "little boy" with little spray/large effect. So the projection is like you durability supernatural, even after 10-12 hours your fellow men will be able to perceive it at a distance.

Problem:
I have owned this fragrance for 1 year now and there are still exactly 98% present, the reason is simply explained I find no reason to wear it. Due to its monstrous Sillage+ durability it makes it unwearable for me in most situations. Only in my spare time he came to the einsatz.

Conclusion: Rasasi's Powerhouse is definitely worth a buy, the DNA is unique and H/S well I have raved about it enough. It will continue to be a part of my collection and I hope I can find a few more free time occasions where it can be used.
