An autumn in the privacy of a distant hotel room

After a resolutely peppery start, a heart develops around jasmine with notes of papyrus, both green and woody, powdery violet and candied plum with an incense accent. The sandalwood base is soft, creamy, and regains strength with patchouli, vanilla, leather and musks. I really liked this perfume but it's true that it fits my tastes so I expected it. I've worn it a lot of times. And, even with the heat, I find it pleasant. I could quite appropriate it is leathered as I like, in a delicate and modern way.

Intimate perfume, warm in every sense of the word

Truly English identity with all its paradoxes

His apparent classicism hides something quite impertinent. I explain myself

Departure is resolutely fresh, and opens with two notes, one indefinable green, the other perfectly fruity. Lemon, gin... difficult to determine but the whole is very pleasant. Very quickly, the evolution is made to arrive at a tuberose that is both floral and aromatic with, in accordance with the floral notes of ylang-ylang, rose and jasmine, amber, and a woody facet with cedar and, more rarely used in perfumery, eucalyptus.

The composition is complex and the perfume develops with elegance halfway between English elegance and true modernity. It reminds me of a lot of things and I imagine wearing it for a "so chic" tea time at Harrod's in the middle of porcelain and carts of dundee cakes, cream scones, orange marmalade or English carrot cake. It seems to me that he would also have his place in the fitting rooms of a tailor working the most beautiful tweeds for an all-British aristocracy. However, "Royal Mayfair" could also be worn in a pub in Piccadilly or in the atypical shops of Soho.

Finally, I find it as atypical as it is joyful and if, at the turn of a perfume search, you cross its path, do not hesitate to try it. You may hate him but he won't leave you indifferent. If you are like me, you will surely love him and want to know him better.

I find that it reconnects with the spirit of some of the brand's perfumes that have, unfortunately, been discontinued today (source: Advisor at Creed in Paris). Happy to have a generous 1/2 liter bottle :)

Cheers !

Le vieille ami français vue par la noblesse britannique

Mr. Beauregard (Translated by beautiful look) is an upstart, one of the most beautiful copies. Especially since it is perfumed and when a man perfumes himself, paradise is not far away. It is smooth, sophisticated, creamy and reflects a taste elsewhere. A kind of perfection whose murmur even deafens. And we don't understand what he says, fortunately.

Mysteriously sexy with Tonka Bean and patchouli. Insurance is serene with Iris and Benzoin. The discreet smile illuminates the room with Pink Pepper and lemon. A man who knows life, who stays late and cares very little about the next day.

As an ease of education, a nonchalance that gives luck, Mr. Beauregard is a finest fragrance, who knows perfectly how to take the initiative. Mastery therefore becomes an art, harmony is born from quality in itself, the sublime is at hand.

The British are courteous to welcome him and without bad intention. Moreover, for him, they make the effort to give him, in French, Bienvenue monsieur :)

Fierce matriarch

Good manners and appearances. But heart history is never far away. Arranged weddings can be spoiled by a love story.

Countess Dorothea reveals family secrets, she maintains the label at all costs. She has a legendary memory and does not forgive anything. Although lively, his mind is not open and even less with the latest family events.

She holds her revenge with this fragrance with impeccable, refined and reassuring manners. It is comforting like a glass of sherry or a cup of black tea. It is also refreshing, red ginger and cinnamon oil has something to do with it and adds a charming bite to its peremptory tone.

A cunning, dominating woman, as we see many in novel characters or in real life. She is skillful and discreet. She hypnotizes and loves soft and cozy interiors, such as vanilla and cashmere wood.
But beware of deception, you should not trust it because both are misleading. Everything can be held against the one she has in front.

Angelita sees it this way :)

Solar, rich and mysterious

I write these few lines to share my experience of this glamour.

To read at once .. in one go :)

A woody fragrance where cedar and sandalwood enrich their resin with the candied bark of mandarin, dried figs and brown dates. It splices nutmeg, cumin and cloves. The bitter and sweet bay leaf, combined with spices, rests the scent on a bed of freshness and asserts itself in smoothness by balms, such as those of tonka bean, Siam benzoin and myrrh. The cistus labdanum refocuses the perfume on itself, linking the components by unifying them with its mysteriously tarred smoke.

Serge Lutens creates his perfumes by sublimating a smell through a history, legend, culture, or any other element necessary for its genesis.
