Beyond Paradise is one of those fragrances that takes time. At first sniff, I thought it was not for me, but I tried it again and again, this time on my skin, and after about 15 minutes, the scent revealed itself in its best light. The longer I sniff it, the more beautiful it becomes. I never perceive the fragrance as chemical or artificial, but rather as very natural and special; it almost hugs the skin. A fantastic summer scent that reminds me of a tropical garden.

A few years ago, there was a fragrance that not only scented the skin upon application but also cooled it. This one reminded me of that scent, only it doesn’t cool. The fragrance is quite nice but nothing special. I was really looking forward to the lemon and peony when reading about it, but I can't smell them, just like the rest. The scent is not fruity or floral, but simply sweet, which is a pity.

Coriander, ginger, lemon, jasmine, and the rest, all great fragrance notes, and together a wonderful perfume. None of the notes stand out, Penhaligon has once again managed to create a beautifully rounded scent.

I first smelled the fragrance on a friend, and I was completely taken with it. Since it didn't bother her, I decided to get the scent for myself. What I particularly like about this fragrance is that it is not only fresh and not only sweet and fruity, although the freshness prevails.

Nude smells noticeably fresher than Stella, reminiscent of fresh laundry, clean and lightly floral. The similarity to its big sister is certainly detectable. The vanilla and amber provide a soft base for the fragrance without becoming sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't last as well as Stella.
