a smooth, flat, lightly fruity rose
I prefer this to Brosseau's Ombre Rose I just can't get past the dusty, musty opening of that.
This is rosy. Smooth. Sweet, jammy and fruity. Not powdery. Not sparkling. Lighter than Lanvin's Rumeur To Rose which I find heavy and flat and spiced (but good). Lighter and fruitier than Molinard's Rose which portrays itself as a powerful honeyed tea rose, almost a rose oil with carnation or clove. Not luscious and dreamy like Stella, or dripping wet and green like Annick Goutal's Ce Soir Au Jamais. Not pipingly shy and sweet like Yardley's English Rose. Not dark and thorny like Rose Noir by Giorgio Valenti. Not just rosy and ambery like D & G Rose The One. Is evocative of Baby Doll or Bright Crystal in its fruitiness. Did you guess I love roses?
I've enjoyed the bottle but the trail is too light for me to want to replace. If I had to buy another Brosseau scent, I much prefer his Violette-Menth.

The Rose a Shadow Flower??? I would know that!!!
I have a sample of the original Ombre Rose, I have tested it before, but I still couldn't decide how to judge it, as I am not yet sure what to think of it.

Completely different is the Fleur d'Ombre. This shadow rose has as much to do with shadows as the tropics do with ice.

In the opening, it is very fresh and zesty with a strawberry apple note, lightly citrus-tinged, slowly transitioning to the rose. A rose in mango color and the scent of the "Gloria Dei," the most fruitily scented rose I know.
The scent fades quite quickly and becomes a bit softer, but unfortunately disappears after an extremely short time for me - almost as fast as Mandragore by Goutal.

With a corresponding sillage (which is completely absent here) and a longevity of at least 3 hours, it would definitely be my fragrance. As it is, unfortunately, it is just an attempt to approach a fleeting scent.

Many thanks to Bee for this sample. It was definitely worth the attempt, as the scent is truly beautiful. I just hope it lasts longer for you than these pathetic 10 minutes it lasted in both attempts yesterday and today for me.

My comment is over - and unfortunately, so is the scent...

Summer Festival at Earl and Lady Grey
A wonderfully mature floral fragrance that doesn’t feel applied. The scent is not a foreign body on the skin that one adorns oneself with, but rather the wearer herself becomes a radiant and interesting flower.
The fragrance is incredibly complex and harmonious throughout. This blind purchase, after I only knew Ombre Rose and was thrilled by it, has proven to be a true stroke of luck. My expectations were fully met and far exceeded, as my friend, who tends to lump all women's fragrances together as being too strong and too sweet, entered the room after I tested the scent for the first time and curiously asked what smelled so good, and he had a slightly enthusiastic expression on his face, a bit like when Bayern Munich advances in the Champions League :-) That says something!!!
What’s special about Fleurs d'Ombre Rose is that it has absolutely no sweetness...wonderful! The subtle fruitiness gives a little residual sweetness to the floral trio of freesia, jasmine, and rose (I love this combo), which is not perceived as sweetness.
Alongside the mature floral and fruity notes, one scent note plays a very special role: it is bergamot. It makes the fragrance fresh and suitable for summer. It gives the scent that certain something and makes it interesting, distinguishing it from other conventional floral fragrances. The intrinsic aroma is elevated, as one would say in cooking. Since bergamot and also orange are included, the scent reminds me of Earl Grey and Lady Grey tea - I love both varieties.
I don’t perceive the base in terms of scent. Thank goodness I don’t smell sandalwood. Amber and musk allow the fragrance to cling well, even though it is only an EDT. Vetiver is likely responsible for a slightly warming, background sweetness.
The scent has a strong resemblance to Spring Flower by Creed due to the watermelon and also a tiny bit to L'Instant by Guerlain because of the bergamot.
A great fragrance that very few people know and wear. If you’re lucky, you can get it on eBay for about €40 for 100ml EDT; otherwise, it regularly costs easily double that.

ACTION! Ice Cream Parlor OPHELIA! Free Strawberry Shake! on the North Terrace of the Federal Garden Show
Sunday = Sunday outing.

It's hot in the car, the kids are restless, everyone needs to go, everyone is unhappy because it's so warm, tears are already flowing at the entrance, everyone wants to be the first, everyone wants something sweet or an ice cream, Mom stays cool, has everything under control as always, handing out delicious fruit lollies, which have the opposite effect of earplugs.

The walk through the flower fields seems endless, the sun is blazing, the outing that everyone has been looking forward to for so long is turning into a torment, of course, no carousel in sight; a refreshment is needed. And there it is, the saving advertisement poster in big letters, OPHELIA'S OASIS!

Radiant children's eyes make up for the strawberry mess on shirt and pants.
Thank you for letting me be a part of it ;)

pink
There is nothing more to add here.
Very beautiful floral scent with a very slight fruity touch.
If the color pink had a smell, this would be it!
Lovely. It would be perfect for spring!

Fruity, floral 0815 scent with little character and longevity. What a pity, the mango sounded very tempting.

Fruit cocktail
Melon, grapefruit, and mango are too prominent for me...
Doesn't do the "Rose" in the name any justice...
