Powder Box and Expensive Cream
Just like my title, I feel about this fragrance. At first, it starts sharp and intrusive. It also comes across as very old-fashioned. However, it transforms on my skin very delicately and reminds me of a luxurious powder or an expensive cream. I feel very well-groomed and feminine with this scent.
I used 3 sprays and wore it to the office today. My colleague didn't complain - and she is known to have a good nose and is extremely sensitive. However, my skin is not the best scent carrier, but my skin chemistry harmonizes excellently with it. I haven't tried the fragrance on my clothes - it could be overwhelming.
For me, this perfume is something very elegant and suitable for many occasions. Age group is more from the late 20s. Not for girls and those looking for a playful scent. This fragrance has depth and class. I love it now. I actually tested this scent in my mid-20s (today I am 33). Back then, I didn't particularly like it. I was probably just too young for it.

Addictive Feel-Good Scent
Well, I have to say, I hadn't heard anything about this perfume until a week ago. The name didn't mean anything to me. I've since checked out the styles from this brand - I think they're really cool (although unfortunately not in my price range).
Now to the scent. I received a sample of it and sprayed it on one morning out of boredom. What could possibly come of that? Everything smells like a generic blend these days anyway. But "Hello" - what is this? I sniff and sniff. I can't really pick out anything specific, yet I find the scent very special and so different from most things currently available. It smells well-groomed and fresh. Fresh like freshly washed laundry with a lot of fabric softener. It gives off something very warming for me. But also something irresistible. My husband, however, hasn't really reacted to the scent. He hasn't commented on it so far. But that doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. It just doesn't stand out to him. For me, it does.
The scent constantly wafts around my nose and I simply feel heavenly comfortable. I now spray it on in the evenings after showering, often even again before going to sleep. I feel totally at ease with it, like I'm wrapped in a big cashmere blanket. However, I can also imagine going out in the evening wearing it, as I find it very sensual. Additionally, the sillage is very nice. At first, it might even be overwhelming. You probably have to be quite careful with this scent. I can't wear it to the office; my colleague would freak out because it can be quite overpowering.
In any case, I have found my absolute feel-good scent. I constantly have to sniff myself and can't get enough. I'm curious whether this feeling will last forever or if it will annoy me one day. Right now, I'm wishing for shower gel and body lotion. I want to bathe in it...

Salt on our skin....
...that was the first thing I thought when I sprayed "In Joy." I love this salty note that wafts towards me and it elevates the fragrance so far above the mainstream. The heart note is also great and pleasant. This slightly salty scent is still perceptible and so wonderfully fresh. As I type, this lovely hint of the fragrance surrounds me. It's really a dream... if I hadn't read the previous comment. That keeps me (thank my bank account) from purchasing it.... yet it is so beautiful. If it ever goes on sale, I will probably have to grab it, but for now, I will keep my feet still. The base with the peach might be too bland for me anyway ;-)

Blind purchase - why do you keep doing this?
I don't know why I bought Dolce blindly. Probably because of the bottle and the good reviews from the Turquoise group. Also, perhaps due to the idea that it would be a floral fresh scent with a wonderful lightness and still something special. That's how Dolce & Gabbana advertises it.
To be honest, I unfortunately don't see myself in this beautiful flower garden... if I'm completely honest with myself, I don't like the scent at all..... When I spray it on directly, it's simply not the type of fragrance I enjoy. Somewhat soapy, piercing flowers... On my clothes, I find it even more piercing. It's really a scent that I can only wear on my skin because then a development occurs that makes it a bit better. After a short time, it comes across as a bit softer. Like a floral powder perhaps. I don't know how to describe it; I can't identify any individual components. However, when I press my nose to my wrist, I do smell something coming through... excuse me - sweat! It makes me very sad because my expectations were so high. Well, it's wearable. It doesn't hurt because it somehow fades shortly after spraying. My colleague with her dog nose didn't even notice the new scent. I will make another attempt soon when it's warmer and also spray a bit more. Maybe the scent will benefit from the sun... I haven't completely given up yet. It's expensive fun though. Luckily, I got it "cheap." I would be really sad if I had paid full price...
So. I will wait for a very warm spring day and hope it won't be ruined for me by "Dolce."

Caramel Ice Cream Love
Candy has actually been around for a few years now, and so far, I haven't been interested in the scent. I once had a dupe of it (Miro). I gave that one to my cousin. I know I didn't think the scent was bad, but probably not that great either, otherwise I would have kept it.
Well, right now I feel like I'm totally going crazy again and running through perfume stores to sniff everything. I want to take this opportunity to say how glad I am for this forum. I don't feel quite so crazy here anymore ;)
Anyway, Candy came back to my mind, and I really wanted to know how it smells. I sprayed it on a test strip and sniffed. Then there was a funny back and forth in my head.... "mmmhhh, delicious caramel.... wait, what is that? Mh, no, not so good..... although.... this caramel...." Ultimately, I decided to test the scent on my skin. At first, it didn't blow me away. It exudes a certain freshness from the musk, and you can sense the caramel. However, about 10 minutes later, something happened. I wanted to eat myself. The scent completely reminds me of caramel ice cream. Funny enough, I had eaten that the day before. The scent doesn't change anymore, and you would think that one wouldn't want to smell like caramel ice cream. Somehow, I do want that. The scent calms me and warms me. Totally beautiful. Since I've just acquired 5 new bottles anyway, what's one more? It will probably soon be part of my collection. Even if it is supposedly a winter scent as most say... I mainly eat caramel ice cream in the summer :-D
