Mature with Elegant Depth
After a longer absence from Creed Aventus, I was positively surprised by Aventus Absolu right from the first spray. It feels significantly darker and more mature than the original, less playful, less citrusy, but with an elegant depth that immediately exudes a certain seriousness.
A zesty freshness with blackcurrant, combined with spicy nuances, gives the perfume an almost mystical character. Aventus Absolu feels like the matured, self-assured version of its predecessor. Confident, stylish, and with a presence that lingers in memory.
The longevity for me is still just so-so, but at least better than the OG.
Whether the price is ultimately justified is something everyone must decide for themselves. However, regarding the composition and radiance, the Absolu has convinced me so much that I actually wanted to write a review here :-)
