Tabu - Dana (1932)

"Parfum défendu", the forbidden perfume, is rumoured to have been created as "un parfum de puta", which an amusing yet fitting way to describe it.
A lot darker and less sweet due to more clove and especially patchouli, according to Cleopatra's Boudoir 10%, which was very unusual during the time this was created.
It's an impressive dark oriental, animalic, resinous fragrance, perfect to wear at night.

Top notes: bergamot, orange flower, basil, neroli, coriander. 
Middle notes: carnation, clover, jasmine, narcissus, rose, ylang ylang. 
Base notes: amber, oakmoss, vetiver, civet, sandalwood, resins, patchouli, precious woods, musk, cedar, benzoin, vanilla.
