Ambient and cozy!
I have long adored The Magnus Archives and its bewitching story, so when an inspired fragrance was advertised to me, I was immediately quite taken with it.
Aside from the novelty of its tribute to the podcast, the scent encapsulates the essence of The Magnus Archives flawlessly; alluding to that brief peace in the midst of a storm. It truly feels as though I have sat down in the archives of the Magnus Institute, a statement in one hand and a cup of tea in the other.
The notes of black tea and antique books are harmoniously balanced—neither one overtaking the other, rather blending into a scent that feels akin to being wrapped in a warm blanket. It is not too feminine, nor too masculine; a perfect unisex blend. The fragrance lasts quite a while, lingering on my clothing even after the day is through.
