Grown up Flowering Herbs with a brisk kick
This fragrance is really intriguing to me. There is the mint and conifer needles and brisk aromatics that hit with a wintergreen effect in the opening (it doesn’t smell exactly like a wintergreen mint but it isn’t pure mint so that’s what comes to mind). And then when it settles it really takes me back to Bath and Body Works Flowering Herbs fragrance, but in a grown-up way. I loved that scent so this is really fun for me.
It is a little hard to pin down when to wear it though. In winter I like warm, cozy scents like smoky spicy vanillas and warm ambery woods. But it does seem to hit the spot for sunny winter days, especially heading into spring when green things poke out from under the snow. This fragrance definitely makes me imagine what a deer must experience when foraging for those green shoots with its nose in the snow.
