A clip from the 70s advertising the green FA soap, the fragrant hit back then, there was also the matching green shower gel, my mother loved it.... I did too.

With this scent, I have a total flashback, for me it's a vintage scent, but one of the good ones.

I find it green, fresh at first, like just showered after a tennis match, and then it develops harmoniously with a slightly soft freshness with some depth without losing those shower vibes.

For me, it then becomes a rounded green very pleasant companion, and I see it on a more mature man who is sporty and draws attention to himself because he exudes that sporty cool casualness with maturity, is well-groomed, and just smells good.

I find it very nice for everyday wear, but also good for the evening, rather on a man..... the longevity is good and thus it still smells very nice close to the skin after hours.

A vintage scent reissued and very beautifully woven ....

Is a French interior and design brand for the French country house style with shabby chic.

When I smelled this perfume, which I now own, I immediately thought of our sweet playful romantic shop that carries this decor brand among others.
I had previously bought scented sachets and room fragrances that had exactly this scent.
I was crazy about this scent and had really wished there was a perfume to go with it; there was only a room spray.
This fragrance starts with a slightly sour coconut, underscored by many spices and unsweetened vanilla.
The scent is unique and yet somewhat sweetly oriental without a patchouli note, which I really like.

I get vibes of Sensual Orchid by LM, but that one is not as heavy.

I love the powerful aura that the scent envelops me in with its coconut vanilla oriental cloud.
Very unique, very beautiful, very strong, perfect for autumn and winter.

Apparently, production is supposed to be stopped again; my perfumery still has one bottle, which I will secure.

A warm medium-heavy oriental, beautifully woven for me without musty patch, love it.

But who is she?
At 16 years old, young and innocent, I took a Red Cross nursing assistant course and had to complete an internship at the district hospital and then at a nursing home.
At the nursing home, I encountered Florentina, a very old, unhappy doctor's widow, almost 100 years old, wrinkled, thin, with a black, musty wig, smeared bright red lips, and the same red as blush on her cheeks.

Colorful silk flower dresses and her dirty corsets and nylon stockings smelling of urine beautifully draped over the chair. She lived in another world, where she was a beautiful diva, leading a privileged life, not here where everything smelled dusty, mummified, rancid, and disgusting. She did not belong here, she was lost, I felt so sorry for her.
The worst part, her daughter and granddaughter, both doctors, ran a successful practice in the local town, the mother a Elizabeth Taylor with black hair and red lips, the daughter a beauty with black hair and red lips, all Florentina's genes.
But Florentina sank in the stuffy scent of powder puffs, in her own exhalations, it smelled horrifically disgusting. Why had the children shoved her into a small room where she vegetated as sad and lost as a broken plant?

My heart bled....

I will never forget that disgusting smell of the old lady, and I will rate this scent here as the worst I have ever smelled.
It smells so repulsive, urinous, musty, old, disgusting to me, I'm sorry, I can't find a single positive thing about it.
Florentina pure, the flashback and the pain that even a diva withers and leaves this world, so left alone, neglected, alone and shoved aside.

I had to gag while testing this scent, I can't test it again, it repulses me so much.
Stone me, but for me, the worst scent I have ever smelled.

Over 25 years, impossible yet it is so!
I love Louanges Profanes 19 in the summer, it gives me the most beautiful sunscreen vibes and I find it very close to the skin and sexy innocent sensual, I love it very much!

When I was in Italy recently, I treated myself to another bottle, but this time I felt like something had been tinkered with in the scent, it faded quickly and for me was no longer so close to the skin and cloudy, no longer so sensual, and the oiliness was gone. I tested it again in DL, and it was the same for me.
So I went on a search and came across La Poême on another perfume review portal as a similar scent candidate.

So testing, no blind buy.....

Even the testing blew me away, during the weekend I had to keep sniffing my test strip and scarf, which spread a wonderful aura.

Then finally I could buy it and what can I say, I am over the moon.

The scent starts with an overwhelming Neroli floral metallic sour bomb - strong, a bit piercing

From this develops a wonderful composition that becomes sensually oriental like Louanges Profanes 19, but stronger and more mature, where my beloved Louanges ends, Poême begins, I am in seventh heaven. I am a woman, a lover, a connoisseur, beautiful, innocent, elegant, I am me, one with this scent

I have Delial vibes, I have sunscreen vibes with sensuality and above all an aura that wraps me up and protects me from the gray everyday sludge outside.

I also perceive fresh laundry vibes, just as I always wish for.

The longevity is wonderful, I estimate about 8 hours, incredible for such a scent.

It feels like I have been searching for this scent for a long time and have finally found it!

The only thing: since it has been on the market for so long, I fear it could be taken off the market, so I am stocking up right now!

Each of these fragrances needs time to breathe and unfold, and I could never judge these scents after the first sniff, as they all develop very intensely and individually.
I own Velvet Tonka, Creme De Cuir, Rouge Smoking, Jasmin Wood, and now I am addicted to this fragrance.

It starts very citrusy, almost too biting and sour for me, drifting a bit into Cologne vibes, a sharp little beast for the nose without depth that initially put me off.
But an hour later, this fragrance develops so wonderfully extravagant, I love pear and it comes through for me, beautifully woven with all the other essences, it’s not gourmand but enveloping and what I also really like is that it’s zero Cologne and strong yet close.
I own Delina, which has similarities but is brighter and drier, and I get vibes of Alba in Asia, a fragrance I love very much, but the longevity is lacking, which all BDK fragrances have for me.
For me, this fragrance is clearly feminine and for the clean, self-confident woman.

What a fragrance designer, chapeau, I am in love and can’t wait for it to move in with me.
