Why doesn't anyone know him?
Whether the brand Reyane Tradition really has tradition is up for debate. To be honest, I couldn't even find a website for this brand. Yet they now offer a whole range of different fragrances that are commented on here on Parfumo and mostly received positively. And one thing can be said in advance: WildOud is truly a remarkable scent and at a price that is more than just surprising. This also shows once again how high the profit margins usually are in the perfume industry. However, I don't want my judgment to be distorted by the ridiculously low price; it honestly doesn't need that at all.

As for the scent: It is definitely a distant relative of "oud"-vanilla mix fragrances like 24 Gold, Lataffa Raghba, and whatever else they are called. But in my opinion, it is by no means as simple and overpowering. Woody, leathery, and sweet notes predominantly dominate, and exactly in that order, if you ask me. The scent starts off slightly syrupy and reminds me at least a bit of grape juice, but that changes very quickly, and over time it becomes much more beautiful. It never really becomes complex, but the composition is surprisingly well done. The ingredients don't smell particularly synthetic to me, even though one would expect that here. The only question is why they chose the name "Wild Oud," as there are, to my knowledge, much wilder oud fragrances. Generally, I would even claim that it is very pleasing, at least now in the winter season. Of course, it is also wearable in spring and autumn; it's not that heavy after all. For what occasions can it be used? I believe many scenarios are conceivable, but certainly not for sports; otherwise, in pretty much all situations, everyone likes the scent.

Sillage and longevity are good. It is anything but a room-filling, oriental powerhouse fragrance; it may not quite play in that league, yet the performance is above average and still noticeable and pleasant for those around. On my skin, I perceive it for over eight hours, and on clothing, much longer.

In the end, it almost gets the full score from me. But that's only because I like the fragrance direction and because, surprisingly, it doesn't bore or annoy me at all, which usually doesn't take long with most heavy fragrances. Given the price, I haven't encountered anything better so far, hence my maximum recommendation.
