Nope. Do not like.
I have never smelled Delina but was very curious and read multiple reviews that this was the best dupe. It does not smell anything like I was expecting. It has an almost spicy warm, very “grown up” perfume vibe. Not fresh and airy. Gentle is definitely not a word I would associate with this fragrance. Very much a winter rose perfume, not a spring or summer rose at all. I was hoping for something cleaner, along the lines of a powerful version of Elizabeth Arden White Tea Wild Rose with a hit of soft powder but nope, this is the total opposite. More along the lines of Mora Silky Rose. Really glad I didn’t drop bank for the original Delina. This does have great sillage and longevity though. It’s hot August right now, going to put it away and try it again in November.

Edit to add, it is November, tried it again, and I do not like this…

Fuzzy and Fresh
Really starting to like this one. A clean fuzzy smell that works great in summer. I really don’t feel this is a generic fragrance at all. Fresh and not too fruity sweet. Floral without being heavy. The freesia smells amazing in this. Moderate sillage and longevity with 5-8 sprays, nothing spectacular, but it’s one of those fragrances I can smell on myself close up all day and I don’t mind reapplying an extra spray here and there.

I can’t believe how much I love this.
Found this bottle second hand at a thrift store and the batch code dates it 2015, within a year of it being released, so if there has been a reformulation, this review is based on the original formula.

First of all, I have spent too much money on perfume in my life, especially over the last couple of months, trying to find the perfect dewy, clean, pink rose/rosewater type of scent. The closest I’ve come has been Paul Smith Rose (a little too green), Elizabeth Arden White Tea Wild Rose (a little too much tea), Bvlgari Rose Goldea (a little too woody), and Chloe De Roses (a little too soapy) and all of these last about 30 minutes on me. My skin annihilates any and all perfume in under an hour. I randomly found this having no idea what it smelled like other than rose, bought it for $18 thrifting locally in my VERY small town and WHAT?!? It is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for my entire life. Are you f*ing kidding me? A perfume by Kim K? I almost didn’t buy it because I can’t stand her…but…rose…

Seriously this is the most vibrant, clean, zero-fruity rose I’ve ever found.never would have guess black currant was a top note. It’s so pink! There’s a very light powder in the dry down but it stays fresh and solid for a good 6+ hours on me which I have never experienced before with a lighter pink rose. And the sillage is fantastic. I have never once in my life received a compliment about my perfume while out in the wild and just today I received two. TWO! How is that even possible. It has to be because this is an original formulation and it’s been sitting in someone’s closet getting stronger and stronger for the last decade.

My mind is blown. I am irritated and overjoyed at the same time…

Fresh and comforting lotus
This one took me by surprise, in a good way. My mother wore the original Beautiful growing up and I have mixed feelings about that scent as it hits differently depending on the day, but I am happy to report that this is nothing like the original Beautiful, at all. This fragrance stands on its own. It is very pretty and fresh, elegantly clean. It truly is what I want out of a magnolia perfume, where so many others have left me sad and wanting. In this, magnolia truly stands out as the star.

I’ve finally got myself buying the smallest size when blind buying and this one will be a repurchase in the largest size available. I want the comfort this brings. Very reminiscent of evening walks in a sundress late spring or even comfy pajamas and a cup of tea during the fall. It does vaguely remind me of Chance Eau Tendre, a vibrant opening that settles into a soft cloud, but they are really not close enough at all for this to be a dupe.

Sadly like every dang perfume I adore, my skin eats it immediately and I go nose blind in like 10 minutes. I hate that I can’t smell it on me all day when I know the people around me can. Isn’t going to stop me from wearing it and I just carry a small decant for when I need a hit.

I accidentally wore this layered over L'eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake and it kicked it up a level! They complimented each other very nicely.

A sweet fruity vanilla
I just opened a fresh bottle that was manufactured a little over a year ago. Blind purchase based on reviews as I have been looking for a fall/winter scent. First impression was soft berries and cream with a pillowy dusting of powder. Not what I was expecting, but nice. The only word that comes to mind is, soft. After about 10 sprays and 10 minutes I can’t smell it anymore, maybe a hint of sweetness. Husband agrees, it’s a light one.

I thought this was suppose to be a perfume intense? I imagine it will get better and stronger after a month of sitting, much like my Kate Spade New York did. (That strawberry got LOUD…too loud…)

I sprayed it on a shirt earlier today when I first purchased it and I can still smell it if I really stick my face into it. Just now I am freshly showered and lotioned up and yeah, can only smell it if I really go in close to my skin. But I can feel an aura of perfume around me, if that makes sense…

All I am getting is berries and cream. It’s nice but I am hoping a time out in the dark “cure closet” will help it improve.

Six months later and this perfume has turned into the most delicious juicy blueberry and vanilla icecream scent. And the longevity has greatly improved! I can smell it the next day on my clothes.
