Roasted coffee, marple syrup with... burnt wires and lovage???
First of all I'm gonna say what „feedback" I received...
„smells like burnt wires, something like burnt plug";
„smells like vegetable soup”;
„did you just cooked something and forgot it in the oven? It smelled in the whole house like burnt food”;
„*me going at the gym 12h after applying adding 2 attempts to wash it away*
-person 1: hmm, smells like lovage here
-person 2: *comes in locker room* hey, it smells like lovage in here too!”
„I came to work on wednesday after vacation, I got a little worried of the smell and went to almost every plug and checked them, because it smelled like something was on fire, I thought it was because of Quartz heaters (btw, i wore the perfume on a monday)"
"*Gave it to a friend to test it*
-smells like I threw my jacket in a soup... and there is something burnt in it, like burnt wires"
Funny, but not.
What do i think...
This perfume smells exactly like fresh ground roasted coffee beans with a little bit of caramel and Marple syrup.
The opening smells exactly like roasted coffee 1:1, and then goes a little bit into am expresso zone which is good, very natural smell.
After a little bit of time comes a little bit of sweetness, which is welcomed. A nice sweet aura from maple syrup, the thing is that the caramel note comes also a little „roasted”, burnt sugar... Which is normal, but there is already the „smoky/burnt thing" in it from coffee in a high amount, so this 2 notes gives to the perfume a little too much "burning stuff", and upclose is ok, but in the air IS NOT THE BEST CHOICE, because it starts to smell like something is on fire.
Around me it smells perfect, coffee with maple syrup, little bit of caramel and vanilla hints, but when someone is far away, they'll get only the burnt things.
Even when you touch the area where you sprayed with the jacket, blouse or whatever material, it's gonna smell like Followed, and the thing is that on the jacket, for example, it will smell a little like lovage and vegetable soup.
Smell: i'd say for me it's a 7.8/10, but the drydown just nah, it smells like food and i'll give it in total 6/10 just because the coffee note is just how I like it.
The performance? 10/10. With 3.5 sprays you'll fill up the entire floor, not only the room. (Anw, this one is too strong)
Just take Baccarat Rouge, Interlude man, Oud Extrait, spray wich one 2 times on you and that's how 1 spray of Followed is.
Bottle design 10/10, bottle quality and sprayer 2/10. I really love how the bootle looks, but the materials used are quite cheap.

Great Oud fragrance to start with
If you wanna start your journey with oud notes in fragrances, this should be the one you should start from my point of view.
I'm saying this because for my nose (and seems like other people said the same thing) this not typically an „ 100% oud fragrance", is more like a fragrance built on a „inoffensive" oud base.
The oud in MFK Oud Extrait is not (very) agresive, it doesn't come very medicinal or fecal/extremely animalic and to make it more appealing and less offensive a high dose of powderyness and elemi is added.
For me this fragrance stars powdery and a little bit medicinal with a citrusy-spicy accord coming from Elemi. If I put my nose very close in the first minutes after I applied, I get a petrol/gasoline note.
I think there are some notes that are not listed, like: rose, iris, violet leaves. I always thought this is OSM Extrait, with less florals and more ambrette and oud + elemi.
As it goes to drydown It gets more powdery and sweeter and dry from saffron with a metallic-musky base made of oud and ambrette. I do get a little bit of Iso E Super in this.
There is also a leathery acord, subtle.
(It's not overly sweet, I could easily wear this in summer days at night)
The performance is extremely good, on me stays around 12 hours and after shower there is still a little bit of scent there.
Projection really strong in first hours and sillage too, after ~3 hours is becoming more "calm" and projects just enough until the end of the day...

Signature Worthy
Very masculine, fresh, citrusy-woody, long lasting, decent projection and very versatile.
I could see myself wearing this everywhere, university, Caffe bars, meetings, etc.. It's very classic and elegant, works easily with a casual outfits or something more special. Also I could wear this in summer too, as the citrus notes tend to amp in heat.
It starts very citrusy crisp to my nose and aromatic, I still get a little bit of basil in the opening mixed with the citruses and a creamy sweetness.
The elemi is the main note after the opening settles down, leaving the scent profile still citric, the vetiver plays a major role in this along with the lovely Elemi note, makes it very woody and slightly smoked. The lavender gives an aromatic and earthy accord to this beautiful combination.

My „good to go” winter fragrance
I really love strong heavy on spices and warm perfumes and after seeing the notes of OMSG I told myself I'm gonna buy it in the near future.
And indeed it's strong and very spicy, a lot of cinnamon with some warm notes from amber and a sweet chemical note, probably from apple...
The opening is very strong, but also very synthetic. It's a spicy and sweet opening, combined with a fresh vibe (which won't last long) given by the fruity smell of apple and some citruses. The citruses notes makes me think of clothes balsam.
After it dries down, it's very spicy, woody, warm, apple, a with a musk which is very animalic, ambroxan like, it „tickles” my nose, but makes a nice combination with the warm-spicy and woody profile. There are some smoky accords too, I don't know what note could give this vibe...
The performance is strong, I can smell it on my skin after 10h + a shower. The projection is very strong in the first hours, I wouldn't say it's nuclear, but it's strong and perfect.
The spices, apple and warm nuances + the smoky accord will make you think of Christmas, which will make it perfect for me to wear it in winter :)

Sweetness bomb
I really like sweet fragrances, but this is quite sweet even for me.
But I really like the opening, which is kinda fresh from my point of view. A combination of citruses with apple and a warm-spicy aura.
But after few minutes, after it stars to dry-down, it becomes sweeter and powdery, the vanilla and tonka are intenser and intenser, in combination with a spicy-woody smell from nutmeg and woodsy notes. There are some musky and leathery notes in it (probably due to Suede) which makes the fragrance more masculine. Also with a quite high dose of ambroxan..
The performance is quite good, not a beast. I get sniffs from myself even after 4 hours. On me the longevity is about 9 hours, and on clothes stays for more than 1 day.
Edit: the projection is quite weak, but the sillage is ok. Lasts long but most of the time as a skin scent.
Most women will like this fragrance.
