GRAAAAPEFRUIT
Recipe: Take a fresh summer fragrance, for example "Light Blue pour Homme Eau Intense | Dolce & Gabbana," and set it aside. Now squeeze grapefruits and grate the peel into the freshly squeezed juice. Mix all the ingredients and Voila: A super fresh summer scent that stands out from other designers and provides a naturally fruity freshness kick.

Fruit Cocktail by the Pool
I find it fruity-sweet but not overly sugary. It surprisingly wears well for a man without coming off as feminine, even for people like me who usually don't like sweet fragrances. It smells like you’re dipping your nose into a fruit punch. Thanks to the musk and amber, it becomes refined instead of cloyingly sweet and has an almost elegant quality. For me, it embodies a vacation day spent lounging by the pool in a casual, unbuttoned shirt at 30 degrees in the shade, contemplating what to do in the evening with such warm temperatures. Scent: With an open shirt by the pool.

The Extroverted Designer Scent
I mean Herbert Stricker once responded with this fragrance to the question of whether there are designer scents he likes. And that fits for me; it’s a scent that doesn’t adhere to the rules of designer fragrances. Yes, it is fresh, but it has edges and contours, and above all, it has something independent about it. "Bright" vetiver is present, yet pleasant, and everything smells balanced. It smells simultaneously clean, fresh, and citrusy, but it also has bitter, earthy-dirty notes and definitely a unique character. Not everyone will like it, and it rarely inspires love at first spray, but if you give it time, it’s a beautiful bitter scent that you can also wear in the office (thanks to its mineral lightness) - it certainly won’t appeal to everyone, but (especially the sillage) is definitely not overpowering.

I believe you either love it or hate it. And I am convinced that the more time you give it, the more likely you are to learn to love it.

Niche fragrance for 20€?
I could definitely be sold this as a niche fragrance. I find it smells very high-quality and definitely not like a designer scent. It's definitely not a crowd-pleaser and therefore used rather rarely, although it seems to appeal more to men than to women (in my experience). I can understand that well; it’s not sexy, it comes across as introverted, contemplative, almost sad. One might debate the niche character, but not the fragrance direction: EARTHY-SMOKY VETIVER BOMB.

For me, it's only wearable in autumn. The scent embodies for me a solitary autumn walk in the dim light of the ever-setting sun, while somehow enjoying the melancholy of the impending winter and the dying nature.

A Mega Scent....for 10 Minutes
A super scent. A citrusy grapefruit with pepper and a fresh ginger note. For me, it’s a young, sporty yet elegant summer fragrance that I really enjoy smelling on my wrist. However, applying it is absolutely pointless, as it is no longer detectable after 15 minutes. I have already considered going to one of those perfumeries that create custom scents and having it recreated for me - with (better) longevity.

P.S.: The bottle is really very high quality, I love this easy-to-use but still strongly holding cap.
