Oud, vanilla and a latte
I experienced this fragrance in descending order of notes magnitude: Vanilla, Oud, Sandalwood, Coffee. The opening is sour-synthetic for the first 15 seconds.
Although rather linear (there is not much development), this fragrance is not just an oud-latte combination, the vanilla brings in some sweetness and sandalwood dry down makes it the perfect winter oud unisex fragrance. It is not overtly sweet like Swiss Arabian's Shaghaf Oud, but shares a lot of similarities with it. Also, the coffee is a milky latte made quite sweet by the vanilla.

Juniper berry/ Sandalwood wonder
I received a sample of Saif, tested it, wasn't impressed and put it away. Fast forward a few months later, my friend and I held a fragrance testing session, I brought out some samples I had (by this time I had lost the packaging for this and couldn't recall the name). We tested this and oh my goodness were we blown away. I looked through all the fragrances on the Ahmed Maghribi website for fragrances with Juniper berries and cedarwood because they were the notes my nose strongly recognised. Came to Saif, took a leap of faith and bought it. Having learnt my lesson, I let the bottle sit for two weeks before opening it and lo and behold it was the perfume!
Now, let me tell you about this sweetheart:
Top: cardomom, juniper berries, bergamot.
Middle: cedar, cinnamon
Base: sandalwood, musk, vanilla
This fragrance is truly about the juniper berry, cedarwood, sandalwood and spices. It is a unisex fragrance that has good silage, longevity and well-blended quality. It is not alcoholic or synthetic, even in the opening.

A gorgeous rose/oud
If you were to call this fragrance a 'rose-oud' combo, you would not be telling the full story. This has perhaps the most realistic rose I have smelt in a a fragrance at this price range. It shares a similar airy vibe with the roses that Al Haramain perfumes tend to be built around.
The rose was accompanied by white flowers in the opening but that quickly faded into a light saffron note that blends so beautifully with the rose. And the entrance of that gorgeous, warm, light, sweet cambodian oud gives a definite middle eastern backing. The oud becomes more prominent in the mid, it is at this point that you could mistake this for a mere rose-oud combination.
This fragrance doesn't project, but its sillage and longevity make up for not being a 'smell me before you see me' fragrance.
I used to adore the cambodian oud dominated dry down with its wafts of sweet incense and musk, but somewhere along the line the oud became more animalic to my nose until I couldn't quite appreciate the dry down any longer on my skin.
However on clothing, the oud remains sweet, white flowers, rose and musk dominate.
Even after washing the clothing you sprayed this perfume on, you will still be able to sniff the rose and musk. This is why the fragrance is much more than a rose-oud combination.
In addition, it is unisex.

Lovely scent, but disappointing performance
There is no doubt that this fragrance is lovely- a well blended earl grey and white pepper opening followed by a light parade of white florals- jasmine, lily of the valley, and orange blossom. An iris-musk-sandalwood dry down sets in quite quickly but a pepper note keeps it from being too bland, I am very partial to the powdery iris dominated dry down. I dare say it's this perfume's only saving grace for me. Every note is well blended like a 3.5 minute steeped cup of tea.
On skin, longevity and silage are below average, on clothing it disappoints less. This is not a perfume that performs, it is a skin scent. Nothing is overpowering about this scent- it is a wallflower. It is boring, non-descript and for lack of a better word, 'meh'.
If you're on the look out for a plain, lovely, every day scent that you can spritz and forget about, perhaps if you work in an office environment where 'loud' perfumes would be too intrusive, this will probably be a good fragrance for you.

Synthetic, vanilla-amber floral
This is a bedtime skin scent that's clean, synthetic, light, heavy on the lily, vanilla, heliotrope, and amber combo to my nose. It's not an overtly sweet fragrance, but it's certainly cosy.
It has low sillage and projection, but moderate longevity- cleaves to skin for 4 hours, clothing for 6-8 hours depending on how many sprays you use- I suggest overspraying.
