Of Flies and Pink Hearts
Hello, I’m the new one and I’m daring to write my first review:

I can’t detect either the lemon or the bergamot in the top notes. The first thing that greets me when I spray it is a warm, spicy breeze that I have fallen in love with. No delicate long foreplay, but BAM and immediately pink hearts in front of my eyes. The fresh components are completely swallowed by the warm spice. This probably comes from the patchouli. A blend of orange blossom and vanilla also caresses me. Delicately held together by amber, I think. Simply WOW. This must be love at first sniff.

But oh dear! This is just a tiny little sample - a vial - that I received weeks ago. This little treasure had been lying around unnoticed and unappreciated. I must admit, the name "Bella" didn’t really entice me.

Until a few days ago when I had the crazy idea during my home office lunch break to sweeten my work a bit. To do something against stress and annoyance. So why not test some fragrances - a kind of substitute for aromatherapy.

Have I mentioned how wonderfully sweet this scent is? Intense, warm, sensual like caressing powdered sugar. Hmm - delicious. A little later, the amber also comes to the fore. Everything becomes softer and gentler - the spice slowly fades away.

Now what can I say? I was - I correct myself - I am infatuated with the scent. Consequently, I ordered and bought it immediately. And because this scent simply won’t let me go, I started to research. I want to know everything about the fragrance.

The internet mentions that the scents from RP remind one of the "vibes" of well-known perfumes. I immediately thought of "La Vie est belle" because of the name. So I pulled out my sample of that and sniffed it extensively. And? No, I couldn’t see much similarity. "LVEB" is much lighter and more floral. I miss the depth and warmth here. So I continued to research.

According to a French shopping site, "Bella" contains vibes from "Magic" by "Al-Jazeera".
Since I unfortunately don’t know this "Magic," I can’t verify this at the moment.

So I tried to compare the fragrance notes of "Magic" and "Bella." But I didn’t get anywhere here either. There are hardly any matches. As a newbie, I now reluctantly leave the field to the experienced sniffers.

Conclusion:
Even if I don’t find out anything more, this scent has simply captured me with its deep dark oriental sweetness. Like one of those carnivorous plants that lures poor flies with enchanting fragrances. Simply hopelessly ensnared.

"Hmm, how it smells - so delicious," thinks the little unsuspecting fly with thousands of pink hearts in its eyes....
