Eternity
A pure, timeless love
No inconsistencies. Everything is well ordered in its place
A clear line from start to finish. Security in a
never-ending dialog between delicate flowers and woods.
Natural, refreshing and noble.
Sitting in a rocking chair made from the finest wood at sunrise
sitting on the terrace.
The summer wind carries the delicate scents of the garden.
be content with yourself and the world.

Unfortunately synthetic!
I think the Burberry Godess Eau de Parfum is wonderful. Silky soft, sweet vanilla, unobtrusive lavender, and a mega nice cocoa note. The vanilla note is very similar to Guerlain vanilla. I had high hopes that the Intense version would smell just as good. I was hoping for an intense vanilla-lavender-cocoa combination. Chocolatey and ambery would have been great.
I was all the more disappointed when I smelled Burberry Godess Intense for the first time. The eau de parfum was merely intensified a little, deprived of the great cocoa note, and supplemented with patchouli and a vanilla wood (vanilla SFE). The result is rather sobering. At the beginning, I am still sitting in a vanilla-lavender cloud. Patchouli then gradually gives the whole thing some depth. Well, and suddenly the chemistry comes through!
The Burberry goddess now exudes only masculine synthetic vibes. This almost acrid chemical club completely puts me off the new fragrance. I can't tell what exactly has been added. Patchuli is definitely not the culprit here. Unfortunately, the chemical kit is being used more and more often. I can hardly find a fragrance without a nasty unnatural note in the background.
So my collection will probably shrink bit by bit.
Unless we return to natural raw materials. Chemicals and nature can trigger allergies in equal measure. Natural raw materials simply cost manufacturers more. Burberry is welcome to keep this plonk!
In niche perfumery, this bad habit has not yet become so prevalent. In future, I will own fewer, but higher-quality fragrances.
Excerpt from an advertisement for the fragrance:
"This Burberry perfume is an aromatic, woody, gourmand fragrance. The trio of vanilla fragrance notes that make Goddess Eau de Parfum so distinctive is enhanced by a fourth note of vanilla wood (vanilla SFE) with a smoky character. In combination with luminous lavender essence, it intensifies the fragrance with a lively, woody aroma."
