“Beautiful Stories”: Douglas Launches New Fragrance Collection

German perfume and cosmetics retailer Douglas introduces the “Beautiful Stories” fragrance range, consisting of four unisex fragrances that pay homage to a respectful relationship between people and nature.

“Beautiful Stories - Walk in the Sun” is said to represent drive and blossom, with “sun” symbolising the common bond of all people under a common sky. The composition begins with a fresh and fruity head of orange blossom, bergamot and mandarin. Floral and sweet with ylang-ylang, blackcurrant and nectarine, the heart note unfolds before a warm-woody accord of sandalwood, tonka bean, patchouli and musk rounds off the fragrance.

With the second fragrance, “Beautiful Stories - Live The Moment”, Douglas wants to appeal to people to enjoy the present moment. The first spritzes spray a fresh, fruity symbiosis of bergamot and mandarin, which changes into a sweet and spicy note in the heart through apple, rosemary and sage. Patchouli and cedar round off the fragrance with a woody, tart accord.

“Beautiful Stories - Follow Your Dreams” is meant to act like a positive mantra and represent the fulfilment of one's dreams. The floral-fresh creation opens with a citrusy-spicy interplay of pepper and lemon. In the heart, rose, geranium and peach lend the fragrance floral and fruity notes, which are replaced in the base by warm, woody essences of cedarwood and musk.

“Beautiful Stories - Celebrate Life” is meant to be activating and celebrate life. The fragrance begins with a fruity-fresh top note of apricot, lemon and orange blossom and then moves into a sweetly intense heart note of tonka beans, apples and nectarines. Warm cedar notes finally round off the fragrance.

With the new fragrances, Douglas wants to represent the values of transparency, respect, humanism and inclusivity and embody a philosophy that promotes togetherness, global awareness and social as well as ecological responsibility.

The fragrances are packaged in minimalist, transparent flacons with round contours, on which the respective fragrance name is written in black block letters.

The fragrances are available in 50 ml bottles.
