Cognac on Ice: The New Eau de Parfum "Angels' Share On The Rocks" by Kilian

With the unisex fragrance "Angels' Share On The Rocks", Kilian launches a cooler, fresher version of the successful fragrance "Angel's Share (Eau de Parfum)", inspired by enjoying a cognac on ice.

At the heart of "Angels' Share On The Rocks" is the so-called On the Rocks accord, which combines sparkling notes of bitter orange, grapefruit, lemon and Italian bergamot. Aldehydes and a specially created ice accord lend coolness and freshness to the opening. A warm, spicy-sweet heart of cognac then unfolds, accompanied by amber, Laotian cinnamon bark oil and Venezuelan tonka bean absolute. The base note is characterized by oak wood absolute, which gives the composition a dry, slightly smoky finish.

Inspired by cognac on ice

The creation was composed by perfumer Benoist Lapouza under the creative direction of Kilian Hennessy. For Hennessy, the fragrance is an olfactory homage to the ritual of enjoying cognac on ice. While his father and grandfather always preferred the drink neat, he breaks with this tradition - convinced that the essence of cognac is particularly enhanced by the coolness of the ice.

To visually emphasize the idea behind the perfume, the bottle is designed in a matt frosted glass look and is reminiscent of an ice-cold tumbler.

The new fragrance is available in flacon sizes of 50 and 100 ml.
