“Replica - On a Date” - New Fragrance by Maison Margiela Inspired by the Vineyards of Provence.

The new unisex fragrance "Replica - On A Date" by fashion house Maison Margiela is meant to evoke the atmosphere of a romantic evening in Provence overlooking the vineyards in late summer.

With this perfume, Maison Margiela wants to evoke memories of romantic dates and crushes. The composition of bergamot and rose represent the excitement of the perfect date. Blackcurrant is accompanied by the sensual and woody note of patchouli, which is to reflect the vineyards. Perfumer Carlos Benaïm was inspired by his own memories of Provence when creating the fragrance. His goal was to capture the rays of the sun that ripen the grapes and provide a tingling rush of emotions.

In the top notes, the scent of ripe grapes heated by the sun is created by an interplay of liqueur essences and juicy, sweet and sour notes. Added to this are bergamot oil and pink pepper, which give the perfume a spicy note and represent the exciting feeling on a date. Geranium oil and davana oil in the heart notes give the fragrance creation delicate floral nuances as well as fruity notes reminiscent of a date. The fragrance finds its connection in woody, earthy and mineral accords of vetiver oil, patchouli essence, moss accord and musk, which is meant to capture sensuality and vineyards at dusk.

Captured in a transparent bottle, the fragrance "Replica - On A Date" is presented in the color of the sunset.

The fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
