The Breath of a Sea Breeze: The Cabotine Turquoise Eau de Parfum by Grès

The Breath of a Sea Breeze: The "Cabotine Turquoise" Eau de Parfum by Grès

With "Cabotine Turquoise", Grès interprets the tranquillity and natural elegance of Mediterranean coastal resorts in a women's fragrance - characterized by citrus freshness, green fig and maritime accords.

Cabotine Turquoise embodies natural elegance and tranquil beauty, evoking the charm of a Mediterranean escape Like the gentle breath of a sea breeze.

Grès

"Cabotine Turquoise" is an invitation to rediscover the beauty of simplicity and reduction. The composition opens with a bright citrus accord: sparkling bergamot, mandarin and the subtle bitter note of lemons lend the opening an invigorating freshness. A hint of fig tree adds a green, milky, velvety depth. The Mediterranean character continues in the heart: spicy cardamom and aniseed meet aquatic notes that carry a salty breeze through the composition. Floral accents are added by a note of oleander. A warm, earthy base of musk, ambroxan, patchouli, cistus and cedarwood concludes the fragrance, giving it depth and a powdery, velvety texture.

A fragrance in the tradition of Cabotine

The composition was created by Karine Dubreuil-Sereni and is part of the famous Cabotine- collection, which Grès launched in 1990. The first Eau de Toilette - "Cabotine" - was created by Jean-Claude Delville and was a great success with its floral-green profile.

Since then, the line has been continuously developed. New variants pick up on individual facets of the original and interpret them in a modern way - sometimes clearer, sometimes fresher, sometimes warmer. "Cabotine Turquoise" is a modern continuation: clear, understated and inspired by southern lightness.

About Grès

The Parisian fashion house Grès was founded in 1942 by Germaine Émilie Krebs, who became known as Madame Grès. Her original passion was sculpture - a love that was clearly reflected in her designs: flowing draped gowns inspired by antique sculptures became her trademark.

In 1959, the label ventured into perfumery and launched "Cabochard" - a powerful leather chypre that quickly established itself as a classic.

While the house's couture is now history, the fragrance world of Grès lives on: since 2001, the perfume line has been continued under the umbrella of the Swiss Lalique Group.

"Cabotine Turquoise" is available in a 100 ml bottle.
