The Crafted Collection by Loewe: A Tribute to Iconic Fragrances

With the new Crafted Collection, the Spanish label Loewe presents three unisex fragrances that reinterpret classic perfumery ingredients - vanilla, iris and oud - in a modern way.

Roasted Vanilla - Vanilla in combination with cognac and oak

Sensual and addictive, "Roasted Vanilla" explores the fascinating complexity of vanilla.

"Roasted Vanilla" reveals a multi-layered interpretation of vanilla, whose natural warmth and creaminess is anchored by the woody character of oak.

The composition opens with an accord of cognac, which adds a subtle sweetness and sensual depth. Oak wood lends structure and an earthy, woody undertone, while pink pepper adds spicy accents. Finally, vanilla unfolds in the background, providing a warm, creamy depth.

Iris Root - The powdery elegance of the iris

"Iris Root" is powdery and elegant and explores the hidden beauty of the iris root.

Loewe

"Iris Root" is dedicated to the noble, powdery grace of the orris root.

Angelica seeds lend the composition an aromatic green spiciness, while Nepalese Szechuan pepper contrasts with a warm spiciness. Iris root takes center stage, giving the fragrance its powdery, floral and slightly earthy character.

Bittersweet Oud - Oud in Contrast

Opulent and mysterious, "Bittersweet Oud" explores the mystical richness of oud and enhances its resinous and woody depth through a lively interplay of contrasts.

The latest creation, "Bittersweet Oud", celebrates oud in a balance of citrusy freshness and resinous warmth.

Fruity, fresh notes of bitter orange open the composition before the dark, warm oud unfolds and gives the fragrance warmth and depth. Sandalwood rounds off the composition and leaves the fragrance with a balsamic finish.

Arts and crafts in fragrance form

Together, the three fragrances form the new Crafted Collection, in which Loewe focuses on classic perfumery notes. Inspired by hand-blown glass, the flacons have a sculptural shape with fine air bubbles that are reminiscent of their artisanal origins. The design is rounded off with a granite stopper.

The new fragrances are available in 100 ml bottles.
