My grandfather was a barber and he had a barbershop in a small town in the north of Catalonia. As a child, I used to go to his barber shop very often, especially after leaving school. When the weekend approached, all the men of the town would stop by to fix hair and beards, they would talk about things that I did not understand or pay attention because basically, what I liked the most was to take turns in one of the free chairs.
There are two aromatic notes that remind me of that place, lavender and chypre. These two notes, if they are intense in a fragrance, have the power to take me to that place so dear to my childhood.
Chyre-saim to @rogue.perfumery complies with that, the chypre note is spectacular, if true, it smells very classic at the start, but this composition by Manuel Cross as it dries, wood, leather, a spectacular oak moss begin to emerge. and some animal notes that make it irresistible.
Totally masculine fragrance for me, the trail is not very big, it lasts about 10 hours the last two very close to the skin

It symbolizes the first two words of a phrase that means "why is this night different from the rest of the nights? This phrase appears at the beginning of the four questions, traditionally recited by the youngest member, asked in song form on the Passover.
This composition wants to represent these sacred rites based on incense, wood and spices.

Today I'm going to take out my mysterious self. Today I am going to show my most animal side hidden in a perfume.
Today I am going to come out of my hiding place like a civet, when night falls, in the middle of a forest of orange trees and narcotic flowers, surrounded by vanilla baias and the aroma of coffee, stepping on a damp mossy ground and smelling the woods.
Today I'm going to go out and mark my territory.

Oh my God!! This is the thought that came to my mind when I first smelled this fragrance.
Do not look at the notes, because nothing is going to resemble the drawing, or the smells that your mind may try to guess.
Darkness, this is what this composition generates in my mind. But not an unpleasant darkness, it is a darkness that attracts me, more and more. It is like opening a very old noble wood cabinet, loaded with tobacco, after a while hazelnut and cocoa smells come out, always with tobacco as the protagonist and it literally becomes a brutality of fragrance that you cannot stop smelling. Not suitable for all audiences, complicated and not very versatile, but its originality is well worth it.

Interesting French perfume house, with a wide collection, organized by different colors according to its olfactory family, and each fragrance with a number where its three main notes stand out.
Today 901, nutmeg, almond and patchouli. Unisex fragrance, perhaps more masculine, made from pepper and ginger, the nutmeg is behind, in the drying it comes out the patchouli, the almonds and some slightly powdery notes that give it a clean air.
Nothing strident, great for closed places where you want to smell great but with discretion.
