Une Nuit Nomade- brand spotlight

Une Nuit Nomade is a small, niche brand from France that tends to fly under the radar, and I wanted to showcase some of my favourites. The earliest perfume was created in 2013 and the latest is from 2023. Une Nuit Nomade fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Serge de Oliveira, Karine Chevallier, Nathalie Feisthauer, Annick Menardo and Jérôme di Marino. The trio pictured here are Ambre Khandjar, Memory Motel and Suma Oriental. All three are the epitome of autumnal perfection. Ambre Khandjar is an oriental leathery vanilla amber, with a slight booziness from the plum note, sitting on a bed of labdanum, benzoin and patchouli, which tricks you into smelling there's tobacco in there, even though there isn't. Think Grand Soir, Taklamakan, Le Lion, you get the picture. Wonderful. Suma Oriental is a warm, comforting cocktail of cocoa, rum, woods and spices. Yum. Extremely addictive. Like a boozy, warm cashmere sweater, if there's such a thing (I wish there was). Memory Motel is my fave of the three, a leathery vanilla tobacco and incense perfume from the talented nose of Annick Menardo, can't get enough of it, on my 2nd bottle already. This is an amazing brand with a great recycling and packaging philosophy, and very decently priced, considering the quality. They offer two prices, one for the full and very nicely designed packaging and the other where they offer to send you the bottle only, no packaging (plain box that you can discard in your recycle bin). The bottles are chunky, heavy rectangular and really well designed with attractive paper labels, really good quality. The brand also offers all their perfumes in 20ml travel atomisers at great prices, very often 3 for 2, and I cannot recommend enough to try them, Click Song, Sugar Leather and Bohemian Soul being next on my list.
