My Very First Perfume
This scent was my very first perfume bought in America.

The scent itself unfortunately smells artificial, which I don't mean negatively because it doesn't smell bad, but it just doesn't smell like one would hope for from a fragrance made with high-quality ingredients.
The scent itself smells fresh and, as the name suggests, somehow blue. It's hard to describe how and why it smells blue, but everyone who has smelled it so far has associated this fragrance with the color blue.
Personally, I have to say that I am not as enthusiastic about the scent as I was at the beginning, because I miss the depth that other fragrances offer, but it is still a scent that smells very good, is worth wearing, and is certainly one of the best-selling for a reason.

Very good like every fragrance from the Private Blend line
The scent is again a very good fragrance from Tom Ford's Private Blend line,
unfortunately I only have the small tester but I can't afford more as a student.

Shortly after application, it has a very strong citrus fruit scent, almost a bit unpleasant, somewhat like a cleaning product, but only almost. The strong citrus smell fades very quickly (at most 2-3 minutes on my skin), after which it develops a pleasant freshness that reminds one of an Italian dish with lemons. The resins contained in the fragrance provide a warm base note that gives the scent significantly more depth than just its freshness.

Personally, I find the Japon Noir fragrance from the Private Blend line to be the best, however, all the others are also very good and should definitely be tested.
Unfortunately, like with all other fragrances in the Private Blend line, the high price (50ml=170€) and the difficulty of obtaining it (only in a few select perfumeries and very, very rarely online) is the only downside.

Good Scent
A very good scent that I appreciate a lot.
At first, it smells very strong of tobacco, but this fades after a short time, leaving a beautiful blend of tobacco and vanilla that lasts a long time on the skin. The fragrance is generally a bit sweeter but also has a bitter note from the tobacco.
In short, a very good scent that unfortunately isn't always wearable, but brings coziness and warmth to any room. You feel with this scent like in an old English gentlemen's club, so noble, tasteful, and a little special.

Unfortunately, as with every perfume from Tom Ford's Private Blend collection, the price (50ml=170€) and the somewhat difficult availability are drawbacks.
However, anyone looking for a scent that is very good and not everyone has should take every opportunity they have to test all 12 fragrances from the Private Blend line.

Genius
I stumbled upon the fragrance while shopping.
I don’t want to miss it now; in my eyes, it’s one of the best, if not the best, fragrance on the market.
At first, it smells very strongly of that warm plum schnapps you always get after eating at a restaurant, which I personally find very pleasant.
Furthermore, the amber and patchouli come through well, both of which are perfectly dosed in my opinion and round off the scent without dominating it.
Overall, the fragrance can best be described with the phrase "nomen est omen"; it strongly evokes the dark/mystical side of Japan. I imagine the scent in an old samurai temple. Additionally, it has an endless depth that makes you always feel like something more is coming, which makes the fragrance mystical, dark, and a bit playful, without changing the fact that it’s suitable for everyone, including businessmen.

I recommend everyone to try it if they have the opportunity (of course, also the 12 others from the private blend line).

The only two downsides are the high price: 50ml = €170
And that there are very few stores that carry the fragrance.
