First of all: For me, it was a blind purchase and a risky one at that, because I personally am not a fan of lavender. I often get headaches from lavender/lavender scents. However, due to the many positive opinions and recommendations, I was brave enough to order it, and what can I say? I do not regret it, on the
contrary.

At first, I definitely notice a distinct lavender scent, but it is different from what I have smelled before. Very soft and pleasant yet still intense. Quite quickly, a warm, cozy vanilla embrace comes in, which warms the fragrance significantly and adds sweetness. A wonderful combination. For me, it is deep, romantic, and seductive.

The longevity and sillage are great! I can smell the fragrance from the bottle, even with the cap still on.

For me, it is a scent that smells different. Nothing ordinary. All in all, I find the fragrance fantastic and it holds a prominent place on my shelf.

I became aware of this fragrance through the lovely Leni (Leni's Scents) on YouTube. After her multiple, quite positive feedback on this scent, I couldn't help but get a decant right away.

About the scent: I've never smelled anything like this! & my ranking regarding favorite fragrances now needs to be rearranged. What can I say? At first, you actually perceive a very green and herbal, and as I find, also a slightly zesty note, which you wouldn't expect from a vanilla fragrance at all. Personally, I think it's incredibly wonderful, no I love the opening & it's not off-putting at all. You can almost sniff out, minute by minute, how a warm fragrance note gradually emerges. Of course, we're talking about vanilla! And such a vanilla I have never smelled before. The scent develops into a true feel-good fragrance. Beautiful! I have rarely experienced such a development/unfolding of a fragrance.

One thing I know. As soon as my decants are used up & my already ordered new decant from a sharing is coming to an end, a bottle will definitely move in with me!

Just as the title suggests, I fell in love with Grand Soir by MFK at the second sniff. And when I say in love, I really mean in love, because it took no more than 3 days after the arrival of my sample for me to order the bottle.

Let's start with the first sniff. My beautiful fragrance package arrived, and I excitedly unpacked the sample. Just the color of the fragrance looked promising - amber and warm. Beautiful! After one spray on my wrist, I was immediately "overwhelmed" by a strong cloud. I was disappointed and thought to myself, "this probably won't be my scent." So I quickly set the sample aside. Throughout the day, I could repeatedly perceive a cloud of the fragrance, very intensely, without consciously moving my nose to my arm. And the more time passed, the more pleasant and beautiful the scent developed. It became warmer and more vanilla-like. I felt increasingly drawn to it. Suddenly, I couldn't stop smelling my arm; I was in love. In love with this beautiful fragrance. "The grand entrance." You definitely should not overspray this scent, in my opinion. Here, less is more.

The next day, it was clear that I would wear this fragrance. One spray was all I dared to apply at first, and I could clearly perceive it the whole time. Therefore, H+S clearly 10/10! On the same day, my parents visited, and my mom immediately noticed the scent, thus giving me my first compliment. I sprayed the fragrance on her, and she fell in love too. The scent captivated my mom as well.

Today, the ordered bottle from MFK arrived, and it looks beautiful on my shelf. I am so proud to now own it and to expand my collection of MFK. I am in love! I absolutely recommend trying this fragrance.
