I am about to finish my sample of Amber Aoud. I had high hopes for this one. I expected more since it’s a Roja and because of the high price tag.. Definitely one of the best rose fragrances out there but just that. I am not even sure if I would categorize this as an oud-rose fragrance. Woody rose? Yes. This is too safe for me, very little oud. Later it becomes soapy somehow and this is not good. Leather traces in the dry down in a good way. Weak performance too. As someone mentioned above, this doesn’t become a skin scent but actually it disappears after 4-5 hours and it only stays on clothes.
If you would like to have a very good woody-rose fragrance then yes you can sample this but if you are someone who wants his oud little bit strong no you are in a wrong place. Again, the rose is really good in it. Enjoy

This attar version is more creamy and more musky to my nose. Its more musky floral than oud rose to me compared to the spray version.
Also good performance for an attar
Doesn’t last on skin as much as I would expect it (cause its all oil) but last very long on clothes. On the other hand the sillage is good, its very noticable and it leaves a trale behind you, I didn’t expect this.
The price is good for a 3ml bottle.
